What a game between Paton-Churdan and Colo-Nesco as Paton-Churdan had gotten a lot of their core back and are starting to find their footing while Colo-Nesco came in at 4-2. The Rockets fell behind early as Colo came out hot to go up 16-9 after 1. Once again in the 2nd the Royals fended off the Rockets for most of the quarter to maintain a 24-20 lead at the break. The Rockets opened up the 3rd on a 16-2 run to take a 36-26 lead before ending the quarter up 37-35 with the Royals offense coming back. In the 4th it was back and forth as PC would take a 47-38 lead before the Royals regained the lead at 54-53 before the Rockets knocked down 1/2 free-throws to take the game past the final buzzer. In overtime once again back and forth where the Rockets and Royals just could not find the others kill switch as the first OT ended 64-64. In the 2nd OT the teams made the score look like that of a colligate level as the Royals knocked down some free-throws late to pick up a 73-71 win at home. Trevon Keely led the team with 36 points, 8 rebounds and 5 steals.
