Storm Lake at Carroll

Storm Lake   53

Carroll    42

Carroll hosted their annual matchup with Storm Lake on Saturday. The Tigers came in at 2-2 on the season while the Tornadoes came in at 2-3. The 1st was a struggle as the Tornadoes sat in a man to man and the Tigers were not making shots early. The Tigers fell behind 11-6 after 1. The same story came into fruition during the second as the Tigers added 6 but a 15 point quarter had the Tigers down big at the half. Avery DeHaan was the big factor for the Tornadoes as she had 21 of their 53 total. The Tigers came out swinging in the 3rd with a very pressure heavy defense. A 14-14 3rd quarter allowed yet again a big lead for the Tornadoes going into the final quarter. In the 4th, the Tigers would find some offense with a 16-13 run but would fall 53-42 at the end of the day. Ali and Chloe Kock led the Tigers with 19 and 18 each. The Tigers fall to 2-3 with the loss.
