Audubon At Council Bluffs Wrestling Classic
5 of the Audubon girls wrestlers competed at the Council Bluffs Wrestling Tournament with 35 other programs around that area. Audubon and Kuemper Girls At Riverside Tournament
Kuemper and a small squad of Audubon girls competed at the Riverside tournament on Friday. The Knights had nine girls compete with seven of them placing. They finished in 7th place with 90-points. The Wheelers only brought two girls with one of them placing. The Wheelers sent their other wrestlers to the Council Bluffs Meet above. They finished in 14th place with 18-points. Kuemper went 14-14 in matches wrestled with 10 wins by fall and 4 wins by decision. Audubon was 1-3 in matches wrestled with their win by fall.
Sadie Smith was a champion for Kuemper at 130-pounds. She went 2-0 with a win by fall and a 6-2 decision in her championship match.
