South Central Calhoun hosted Manson NW Webster for both teams’ chance at a first win of the season. The Titans and Cougars opened up the season 0-3 so either team had an opportunity to get their first win. South Central Calhoun had a lead after 1 but a very small lead at 11-9. The Titans played one of their better games of the season and broke open the game in 2nd as they would outscore the Cougars 12-5 and go up 23-14 at the half on their home floor. The Titans kept that momentum as they would mount a 19-13 3rd to than maintain the lead. Finally the defense would come up big for a 10-10 tie to end the 4th and a 52-37 win for the Titans and their first of the season. The Titans move to 1-3 with Webster City at home again tomorrow.

Paton-Churdan hosted Tri-Center in a non-conference game Monday Night. The Rockets came in at 0-2 on the season with a tough schedule to start the season. This game was a very competitive matchup as the Rockets had a great night. Alivya Smith had a huge night for PC as she would total up 16 points with 3 three’s. The Rockets would fall by 12, 44-32 and move to 0-3 on the season with CAM on the road Friday.

Ar-We-Va hit the road with a conference game against the Bulldogs of Boyer Valley. Ar-We-Va came into the season at 0-2 on the season while Boyer Valley was 3-1. The Rockets fell behind early with a 20-10 deficit to get out of after 1. Gabbie Hundling had a great night with 14 points for the Rockets. The 2nd was not much better as Boyer Valleys offense clicked and they rolled for a 48-18 lead at the half. The second half was slow for both as a 28-5 second half for the Bulldogs would give them a 74-23 win. Ar-We-Va falls to 0-3 on the season.
