Carroll At Sergeant Bluff Luton Tournament
Carroll had six of their eleven wrestlers place on Saturday, helping them finish 10th out of 19 teams with 114-points. The Tigers went 14-22 in matches wrestled with 13 wins by fall and a decision. They had four of their six place winners in the top 5 of their class. Millard North won the meet with 268.5-points and Sergeant Bluff Luton was 2nd with 252.5-points.
Quinten Polking had the top day for the Tigers, going 4-0 at 215-pounds, winning the title. All four of his wins came by fall. Kieran Polking finished 2nd, going 3-1 with all three of his wins by fall. Michael Rowedder was 4-2 on a busy day, taking 5th place with all four of his wins by fall and Carson Tedrow went 2-2 with both wins by fall, finishing in 4th place.

Audubon had a strong showing on Saturday, finishing in 4th place with 131-points. They placed seven of their eleven wrestlers in the top six at their weight classes. The Wheelers went 15-15 in matches wrestled with 14 wins by fall and a decision. Audubon had a champion and three wrestlers finish in 2nd place.
Jon Rasmussen was dominant at 138-pounds, winning all four of his matches, with three by fall and a decision. He earned a 1st place finish. Lane Elmquist and Lane Meyer both went 3-1 with all of their wins by fall. They both finished in 2nd place. Leyton Elmquist added a 2nd place finish for the Wheelers, going 2-1 with both wins by fall. Clayton VanAernam went 1-1 with his win by fall, taking 3rd place.

Johnny Cortez and Treynor Cose earned titles for Coon Rapids Bayard on Saturday as the Crusaders had four wrestlers in the top two of their weight classes. The Crusaders went 21-18 in matches wrestled, scoring 134-points to finish in 5th place, just behind SEWM with 137-points. Woodward Granger won the meet with 207-points, easily bringing home the team title. Coon Rapids Bayard earned 15 wins by fall, 3 by decision and 1 win each by tech fall, medical forfeit and DQ.
Johnny Cortez went 2-0 at 132-pounds with a win by fall and a decision to win the title. Treynor Cose won the Crusaders other title, going 4-0 at 165-pounds with three win by fall and a decision.
