Girls Wrestling Results Tuesday, November 18th
Carroll, Creston and Red Oak At Clarinda
Carroll went 2-1 to open the season on Tuesday with their only loss by a tie-breaker to Clarinda. The Tigers beat Creston 48-31, going 5-4 in matches wrestled and downed Red Oak 60-12, finishing 3-2 in matches wrestled. Carroll and Clarinda were tied at 36 with Clarinda winning the tie-breaker for a 37-36 win over Carroll. The Tigers finished 5-6 against Clarinda in matches wrestled, going 13-12 in matches wrestled for the night. All 13 of the Tigers wins were by fall.
Kamee Jones went 3-0 for Carroll with a win by fall and Bri Kiger was 3-0 with a pair of wins by fall. Alexis Esquivel, Destiney Riesselman and Maggie Dirkx all went 2-1 with both of their wins by fall. Reese Heller, Carley Jacobsen and Emma Daniels all went 2-1 with a win by fall and Skylar Bloyer finished 1-2 with her win by fall.

Audubon, Central Decatur, Norwalk and SE Polk At Des Moines Public Schools At Hoover
Audubon had a strong opening night, going 3-1 at the Des Moines Public Schools Tournament at Hoover. They nearly swept their matches but fell to SE Polk 42-34 in a well wrestled match. The Wheelers knocked of Norwalk 45-30, beat Des Moines Public 54-24 and took care of Central Decatur 48-30. Audubon went 18-17 in matches wrestled with 18 wins by fall, a decision and a major decision. They went 4-6 in the loss against SE Polk, where 7-4 against Norwalk, 4-3 vs Des Moines Public and went 3-4 in matches wrestled against Central Decatur. The Wheelers had 3 wins by fall against SE Polk along with a major decision. They had 6 wins by fall and a decision against Norwalk, all four wins against Des Moines Public were by fall and they won all 3 matches by fall against Central Decatur.
