
Girls Cross Country
Iris Melody- South Central Calhoun- Girls Cross Country Runner of the Year
Melody wrapped up a great career, battling injuries and health concerns to qualify for the State Meet for the 3rd time in her career. Melody was the most consistent runner in the local area and the best runner in the area. She paced a small Titans team, helping them finish well in the team standings at many of their meets. Her best time this season was 21:33.74. She ran that at the state qualifying meet, helping her finish in 10th place. Melody had several top 10 finishes this season.
Jossa Haupert- South Central Calhoun
Haupert became the Titans most consistent runner as the season went on, giving them a second strong runner to help them in the team finish. She took 16th at the TLC Meet. She cut her time into the 23:00 range by the State Qualifying Meet. She will take over as the team leader next season.
Addisyn Bandow- IKM-Manning
Bandow makes her second All-Rewind Team of the fall sports season, also being named to the Volleyball team as she was a dual sport athlete for the Wolves. She became their best runner as the season went on, oftentimes leading them at meets, then jumping in a vehicle to go play volleyball. She wasn’t able to participate in every meet due to her volleyball obligations. She led them at their State Qualifying meet with a 22:53.10.
Alexis Olson- IKM-Manning
Olson was consistent for IKM-Manning and had her best run of the season at the Tri Center Invitational. She added a strong run at the ACGC Invite, leading the Wolves with a 21st place finish. She worked hard as the season progressed, cutting her time under 24:00 before the season ended.
Anna Seidl- Kuemper
Seidl became one of the top runners for Kuemper this season as the program continues to show growth. She consistently ran under 22:30 late in the season. She set her personal best at 22:32.89 at the Tri Center meet in late September and kept improving the rest of the season, having grown confidence in her abilities. Seidl has two more seasons to continue to improve.
Grace Schoonover- Kuemper
Schoonover is another dual sport athlete this fall, sharing her time between Cross Country with Kuemper and Girls Swimming with Carroll. She was very successful in both, becoming one of their most consistent and best runners this season. One of her best races was at Tri Center in late September. She kept getting stronger from that point on and ran very well at the State Qualifying meet, running a 22:13.53.
Cross Country Coach of the Year
Cindy Wilcke- East Sac
Wilcke had a strong team in 2025 and did a great job getting the best out of them this season. She helped the Raiders host their first ever home meet early in the season. They dominated the meet and the season took off, winning nine meets, including the Twin Lakes Conference and the State Qualifying Meet. The Raiders had a solid day at the State Meet, finishing 8th out of 16 teams and were 6-points from finishing in the top 5. The Raiders broke several team records this season.
