Audubon had a chance late in the 1st half to take the lead and maybe stretch it two scores with the 1st possession of the 2nd half.  They turned it over twice in the final 7:19 of the 2nd quarter and Bishop Garrigan scored twice, taking a 30-14 lead into the half. The Wheelers had four turnovers in the 1st half with Bishop Garrigan turning that into three touchdowns. Audubon finished the game with six turnovers that led to 38-points for the Golden Bears.

The Audubon defense made a stop on the opening drive after the Golden Bears had a couple nice runs to start the game. They forced a punt that ended up taking a nice Bishop Garrigan bounce and pinned the Wheelers at their own 3-yard line. The bad bounces for Audubon started on the next play as the Wheelers fumbled and the Golden Bears recovered at the Wheelers 3-yard line. Ethan Marso scored two-plays later on a 2-yard run and Bishop Garrigan took a 6-0 lead with 8:51 left in the 1st quarter. Audubon answered quickly, scoring on their next drive. They established Aiden Kjergaard in the running game and Kjergaard found Brody Weber for a couple nice passes. That set up a 5-yard touchdown run by Aiden Kjergaard on the nineth play of the drive and Audubon took an 8-6 lead with 3:52 left in the 1st quarter. Bishop Garrigan was methodical with their running game. They slowly moved the ball downfield with Ethan Marso and Tate Foertsch, scoring on a 2-yard run by Ethan Marso with 11:28 left in the 2nd quarter. The 10-play drive put them up 14-8. Audubon has been a quick strike team all season and that showed up on their next possession. Aiden Kjergaard got a great block on the edge, springing him for a 39-yard touchdown on the fifth play and the Wheelers tied the game at 14 with 8:47 left in the half. The Wheelers defense stopped Bishop Garrigan on their next possession, holding them on downs, giving the Wheelers the ball at the Garrigan 36-yard line. Audubon moved the ball but Madden Miller jumped a screen pass, intercepting the ball and returning it to the Wheelers 25. That started a tough final 4:12 of the half for Audubon. Tate Foertsch ran for a 9-yard touchdown on 4th down with 0:40 left in the half and Bishop Garrigan led 22-14. The Wheelers had a bad snap on their next possession and Bishop Garrigan recovered it at the Audubon 6-yard line. Tate Foertsch found Madden Miller on the next play and Garrigan took a 30-14 lead into the half after Audubon threw an interception on a Hail Mary to end the half.

The Wheelers got the ball to start the 2nd half but the bad breaks resurfaced as they fumbled at their own 38-yard line, setting up another Bishop Garrigan score. Tate Foertsch found Michael Joyce for a 38-yard touchdown on the first play, extending their lead to 38-14 with 9:26 left in the 3rd quarter. Jorgen Nowatzke breathed some life into the Wheelers crowd, returning the ensuing kickoff 72-yards for a touchdown and Audubon was within two scores, down 38-20 with 9:17 left in the 3rd quarter. Bishop Garrigan kept churning out drives all game long and responded with a 10-play 42-yard drive after recovering the onside kick. Tate Foertsch scored on a 2-yard run with 3:35 left in the 3rd and the Golden Bears led 45-20. After a bad bounce on the kickoff pinned the Wheelers at their own 4-yard line. The Wheelers offense embarked on a 12-play drive with Carson Wessel punching it in from the 4-yard line, pulling the Wheelers within 44-28 with plenty of time left in the 4th quarter.  The Wheelers defense wasn’t able to make the stop as Bishop Garrigan drive 65-yards and scored on a 1-yard run by Tate Foertsch. The Golden Bears kicked a squib kick that bounced off a Wheelers player and was recovered by the Golden Bears at the Wheelers 33-yard line. They scored on the next play as Foertsch hit Weston Rosemeyer for a 33-yard touchdown to seal the win. Audubon kept battling and Aiden Kjergaard capped the scoring with a 3-yard run with 3:02 left.  The Wheelers fell 60-36, ending the season 11-1.

Aiden Kjergaard finished with 151-yards rushing and 3 touchdowns. Mason Kasperbauer had 59-yards and Brody Weber had 2 catches for 25-yards.
