West Lyon had three explosive plays for touchdowns in the 1st quarter as they built a 28-0 lead on East Sac at the end of the 1st quarter. The Raiders offense struggled early against one of the top defenses in Class 1A. Their first-four possessions lasted three plays each. They began to have more success as the game went on nearly scoring late in the 1st half. East Sac marched down field with a 9-play drive, going 55-yards before it ended at the 15-yard line. The Raiders went for it on 4th down but weren’t able to complete the pass. That was as close as any team had come to scoring against the Wildcats starting defense in the 1st half all season. West Lyon added a pair of touchdowns in the 2nd quarter, leading 41-0 at half. Both touchdowns came on 3-yard runs, helping the Wildcats rush for 378-yards and score seven rushing touchdowns.
West Lyon added a score in the 3rd quarter and East Sac answered. The Raiders went 69-yards in 5-plays with Beckem Kluver finding Carson Schmitt for a 36-yard touchdown with 4:04 to go in the 3rd quarter. West Lyon salted the rest of the game away, moving the ball 75-yards on 15-plays before fumbling at the Raiders 3-yard line. The drive lasted 10:11.
