Glidden-Ralston hosted Storm Lake St. Mary’s in the opening round of the 2025 postseason. The Wildcats and Panthers had met back on August 30th at the East Sac tournament. The Wildcats would win 2-0. The Wildcats came into the postseason at 6-17 on the year while the Panthers sat at 3-18. The Wildcats would start with the serve and they would take advantage of it to build a 5-0 lead. This lead would build up to an 8-1 lead. The Panthers would stay down most of the Set as Glidden-Ralston served well and was able to pass the ball well. The Wildcats would get 2 straight points to win Set 1, 25-14. Set 2 felt closer as the Panthers started to gain their footing on the offensive end. Both teams would be knotted up at 1 and 3 before the Wildcats would mount a 10-4 lead on a 7-1 run. They would maintain this lead all the way until the end to get a 25-16 victory to move within 1 set of advancing in the postseason. Set 3 was by far the closest battle as both teams would trade blows. The Panthers and Wildcats would be tied at 1, 2 , 3, and 4. The Wildcats would go on a 4-0 run to make it 8-4. It would remain close until the Wildcats yet again pulled away to make it 19-12. The Wildcats would give up a couple of points before closing out Set 3 with a win, 25-17. The Wildcats survive and advance as they travel to Coon Rapids-Bayard for the second round.

Paton-Churdan traveled to Newell-Fonda to take on the Mustangs in their opening round of the 2025 volleyball postseason. It was an uphill battle for the Rockets as they came in at 4-13 on the season while the Mustangs came in at 15-12. Set 1 was a very good set for the Rockets as they kept it close all the way through but would fall 25-19. It is a hard hole to dig out from as it is a postseason atmosphere and they trailed 1-0 in sets. Set 2 was very similar as the Rockets kept it very close but would fall 25-16. In Set 3 the Rockets would let it slip and fall down early and were unable to come out of it. The Rockets would fall 25-14 and fall 3-0. Paton-Churdan ends their season at 4-19.

Coon Rapids Bayard earned a sweep on Monday with Malia Clayburg becoming the All-Time Kills leader in Crusaders History. She finished the match with 20 kills, giving her 1,000 for her career. She hit .533, helping the Crusaders swing for a .394 efficiency with 34 kills during the match. Ar-We-Va battled hard, especially in sets one and two but couldn’t keep up the pace of the Crusaders. Coon Rapids Bayard pulled away midway through sets one and two to win 25-12 and 25-11 before starting fast in set three to complete the sweep,
Malia Clayburg had a team high 20 kills for Coon Rapids Bayard, becoming the schools career leader with over 1,000. She added 7 digs while Anna Hart had 15 digs and a team high 7 aces. Aubrey Hofbauer had a strong night with 8 kills, 10 digs and 5 aces. Ella Heithoff finished with 7 digs and Amelia Cook went for 34 assists and 11 digs.
Annalee Wittrock paced the Rockets with 4 kills with Addison Bierl having 7 assists. Vivian Blackford and Gabbie Hundling both had 9 digs.
Coon Rapids Bayard improved to 23-2 and will host Glidden Ralston on Wednesday. Ar-We-Va finishes the season at 0-26.

IKM-Manning cruised in two of the three sets in their sweep on Monday, getting a big service run from Olivia Linde in set one and withstanding the early energy from the Bulldogs in set three to pull away with steady net play, especially defensively. The Wolves ended sets two and three by making plays to help them advance to the Regional Quarterfinals on Wednesday. IKM-Manning hit .274 but it was their serve that might have been the biggest difference, forcing Boyer Valley out-of-system most of the night, neutralizing their offensive attack and forcing them to set over a number of free balls the Wolves took advantage of.
IKM-Manning built a 4-0 lead in set one with kills from Keagan Eischeid and Addisyn Bandow. They never trailed and never were tied in the set but the Bulldogs hung close, pulling within 6-4 and 8-6. Ella Langel put the Wolves up 9-6 and Macy Gruhn made it 10-6. Boyer Valley pulled within 10-7 but Olivia Linde took over from there. She served the Wolves on a 11-0 run with a pair of aces as the Wolves went up 21-7. Katelyn Bandow had a kill to give IKM-Manning set point and they won 25-11.
Set two changed leads three times in the first-seven points as Boyer Valley led 2-1 and 4-3. They extended the lead to 8-3 but IKM-Manning chipped away. The Wolves had a nice run with Keagan Eischeid and Ella Langel carrying them at the net. They pulled within 9-8 on an Anna Stangl ace but Boyer Valley kept holding them off, going on a 4-0 run after Keagan Eischeid tied it at 12. The Wolves were in a hole, down 16-12 but chipped away again with Ella Langel stopping the Bulldogs run. The Wolves tied it at 17 and Ella Langel put them up 18-17 with a kill. Karlee Arp extended it to 19-17 and IKM-Manning ended the set with a block from Addisyn Bandow and Katelyn Bandow, winning 25-22.
Boyer Valley came out with a lot of energy in set three, trying to stave off the sweep. They tied the Wolves at 1, 3 and 4 but Keagan Eischeid gave the Wolves the lead for good with a kill, making it 5-4. Ella Langel extended it to 7-5 and Addisyn Bandow had a nice run at the net, pushing the Wolves lead to 13-7. Addisyn Bandow added an ace and IKM-Manning began to pull away, going up 21-9 and 24-10. Keagan Eischeid ended the match with a kill, giving the Wolves a 25-14 win in set three.
Keagan Eischeid had a team high 12 kills with Addisyn Bandow adding 10 kills and Ella Langel finishing with 8 kills. Karlee Arp had 32 assists. Anna Stangl had 18 digs and Katelyn Bandow added 4 blocks. Caylie Rasmussen had a team high 3 aces and Olivia Linde had a 11-0 service run and a pair of aces.
The Wolves improved to 27-8 on the season and host Kingsley Pierson on Wednesday. Kingsley Pierson beat River Valley 3-1.

In Class 1A Region 6, Audubon hosted Heartland Christian in their opening round of the 2025 postseason. The Wheelers came in at 14-17 on the season while the Eagles were 1-25. The winner of this matchup would await the winner of the Woodbine and Griswold matchup. The Wheelers would strike first and keep a lead all the way through to pull away with a 25-7 win. The Wheelers found their game tonight as it was an all around game with each player contributing. Set 2 would be the closest by far but still dominant from the Wheelers as they would pick up the 25-12 victory. Set 3 would be a repeat of Set 1 as the Wheelers would pick up the 25-7 victory. Audubon would sweep Heartland Christian 3-0 and advance to take on Woodbine at home on Wednesday.

Exira-EHK advanced through the opening round against a familiar foe in CAM, earning a sweep. The Spartans edged past CAM in set two, taking control of the match. They used the momentum at the end of set two to build a lead in set three and cruise to a 25-14 win. Exira-EHK wasn’t pushed in set one, taking control in a 25-18 win. The Spartans hit .219, led by Jaelynn Petersen with 22 kills and a .281 kill efficiency. Taryn Petersen added 11 kills and hit .194. Zoey Rasmussen did a good job getting those two good looks and keeping the Cougars defense from getting a strong block set up. The Spartans defense was solid with 43 digs, averaging 14.3 per set. Taryn Petersen led them with 12, followed by Jaelynn Petersen with 9 digs and Brooklyn Brabham and Bryli Petersen both having 7. Jaelynn Petersen added 4 aces and Taryn Petersen had 3 aces.
The Spartans moved to 13-12 overall and will travel to St Albert on Wednesday.

South Central Calhoun picked up a huge road win to open their postseason run on Monday, having to rally after dropping a close first set. The Titans bounced back quickly from a 25-22 loss in set one and dominated set two, rolling in every aspect of the game to earn a 25-10 win. That momentum carried into set three and the confidence was on display late as the Titans fought hard to win 25-22. With the pressure on Panorama, South Central Calhoun held firm in set four, pulling out a tough 25-20 win to advance. They were balanced at the net with Sadie Wheelock having an outstanding night with 14 kills, Olivia Wiese adding 10 kills and Blair Schleisman finishing with 7 kills. Sydney Stuart had a strong match, spreading the ball to her hitters and feeding the hot hitters at the right time. She ended with 27 assists to go with 10 digs and 2 aces. Olivia Wiese added 12 digs and had a great serving night with 5 aces. Blair Schleisman added 8 digs with Morgan McChesney leading the back row with 13 digs. Macie Dorman added 7 digs.
The Titans improved to 11-29 on the season and will travel to Dike-New Hartford on Wednesday.
