An early turnover and an injury helped Emmetsburg build an early lead as East Sac falls in their regular season finale. The Raiders passed for 154-yards but had three interceptions, the first leading to the E-Hawks first score of the game. Emmetsburg was able to establish their running game, rushing for 367-yards and five rushing touchdowns. The E-Hawks scored once in the 1st quarter but opened the lead up with a pair of 2nd quarter touchdowns.
The Raiders turned it over on their opening drive and Emmetsburg took over at the Raiders 41-yard line. The E-Hawks scored eight plays later with a 1-yard run by Bradyen Yates. Carson Schmitt moved into the quarterback spot in the 1st quarter for East Sac after an injury and the Raiders were able to put together a short drive. The Raiders drive lasted 8-plays but they had to punt the football away and Emmetsburg was able to score early in the 2nd quarter on a 26-yard run, extending their lead to 14-0 with 11:21 left in the half. A second Raiders punt led to another Emmetsburg touchdown with 3:22 left in the 1st half and they led 21-0 at half.
The lead grew for Emmetsburg in the 3rd, scoring on a 56-yard run with 10:07 left in the quarter, pushing the lead to 27-0. East Sac earned first downs in the 3rd quarter but their first drive ended with a turnover on downs and their second possession ended with a E-Hawks interception.
Becken Kluver came in at quarterback for East Sac, going 10-17 passing for 128-yards. Carson Schmitt caught 5 passes for 45-yards and Zach Jacobsen had 2 catches for 33-yards. Dawson Allen led them 12 tackles with 10 solo and Gabe King had 10.5 tackles with 9 solo.
The Raiders end the regular season 3-5 and will head to West Lyon on Friday for an opening round playoff game.
