Carlisle 1
14-25, 25-11, 25-20, 25-21
Carroll traveled to Carlisle on Tuesday for a RRC matchup. With news this week coming out that Carroll will be joining the Hawkeye 10 after this activities year, this could be the final matchup between the two teams in Volleyball. Both squads were looking for their first conference win. Carroll had beaten Winterset in a tournament but had not had a conference win outside of that. Carlisle was looking for the same fate from the matchup. Carroll came into the matchup at 14-18 on the season while Carlisle came in at 5-21. Carlisle would jump out to an early lead in Set 1. The Wildcats would hold on for the big 25-14 win. It is hard as a team to trail on the road and come back but in Set 2, the Tigers would flip the script and get their own big lead. Carroll would pick up the 25-11 set win, which would be the largest margin of victory for either team on the night. Carroll would keep the momentum rolling in Set 3 for a 25-20 victory. The Tigers would be up 2-1 in sets and with a chance to close it out. The Tigers would pick up a 25-21 win in Set 4 to close out a 3-1 match victory. Carroll moved to 15-18 on the year with a Senior Night matchup with Boone on Thursday.
