Ar-We-Va hit the road for a non-district matchup at Newell-Fonda. Ar-We-Va came in at 3-3 on the year while Newell-Fonda came in at 2-5. Newell-Fonda has been a powerhouse for like 30 years but has been down a little in the last couple years. The Rockets gained Johnathan Riesselman back after a couple weeks of him being out.  Ar-We-Va opened up the game with a very similar play to what they have seen all year with a Wyatt Ragaller 20 yard rush for a touchdown. Two minutes later, the Rockets would have Wyatt Ragaller score from 5 yards out to make it 13-0. The Mustangs would get a 66 yard pass touchdown to cut the lead to 13-7. Both teams would score once more to make it a 20-13 Rocket lead going into the second quarter. Ar-We-Va would score twice in the second with Wyatt Ragaller and a big 50 yard run from Jonathan Riesselman to go up 34-13 going into the halftime break. Ar-We-Va would score again to open up the third with Devon Ehlers from a yard out. Both teams would get 2 touchdowns in the 3rd. In the fourth, Devon Ehlers and Grant Wilken would both have rushing touchdowns to open the quarter. The Mustangs would have a kickoff return and 42 yard pass for touchdowns but would fall 61-39. Ar-We-Va has a key matchup with CAM in Week 8 to determine seeding in the district as well as possible playoff hopes.
