Carroll At Johnston Invite
Carroll had four events finish in the top 10 against a loaded field at the Johnston Invite. The Tigers finished 8th with 45-points, ahead of Ottumwa with 35-points and Des Moines East with 26-points. Dowling Catholic won the meet easily with 375-points and Waukee Northwest was 2nd with 226-points. The Tigers best success came in their three relays. The 200 Free Relay t00k 6th with a 1:49.34, swimming with Brylie Behrens, Sophia Malone, Ava Hinote and Grace Schoonover. The 200 Medley Relay was 7th in 2:05.34 with Grace Schoonover, Alexis Borkowski, Brylie Behrens and Sophia Malone. The 400 Free Relay took 9th with Ava Hinote, Charleigh Chaney, Samantha Cadwell and Harper Ladwig. They swam a 4:30.51. Grace Schoonover was 9th in the 100 Free for their best finish in an individual event, swimming a 58.90.
The Tigers had to Newton on Tuesday against Newton and Boone.
