Boys Cross Country Results Thursday, October 9th

Kuemper At Atlantic

Kuemper had a strong day at a big and deep meet, finishing in 5th with 217 points. Dayton Wiederien paced them with a 17:50.0, taking 13th. He was the only Knight in the top 20 but Fletch Badding took 28th and Oliver Vonnahme was 53rd. Lincoln Pius X won the meet with 26-points, having the top 3 runners with Joe Majerus winning it in 16:13.1 and David Krier in 2nd place in 16:26.3. They easily outpaced 2nd place Riverside with 73-points.

Ar-We-Va and IKM-Manning At Boyer Valley

IKM-Manning earned another win on Thursday, their second meet win in the last seven days. The Wolves had three runners in the top 10 and their top five runners in the top 13th. They topped Woodbine by 12-points with IKM-Manning scoring 34-points to the Tigers 46-points. Camden Morris led them in 5th with a 17:37.18, Isaac Blankman was 7th in 17:41.72 and Akeo Maynard finished in 8th in 17:50.29. Jacob Sporrer of LoMa was the champion, running a 16:46.71. Jacob Hanson was the lone runner for Ar-We-Va and he finished in 48th overall in the meet and he was 19th in the Rolling Valley Conference Meet that was part of the race. Dane Gorham of Boyer Valley won the Rolling Valley Conference Meet in 16:50.99.
