South Central Calhoun hosted their Cross Country meet that played host to 9 other schools which included East Sac. In a week where both schools will run together in Cross Country and face each other in Volleyball. It was a fun atmosphere to be around with plenty of student-athletes as both girls and boys in high school and middle school ran at the meet. East Sac would have runners place at 1st, 3rd, 4th, 22nd and 54th while SCC had 15th, 33rd, 42nd, 45th, 58th. Riley Aragon and Landon Sporrer were very close throughout the race. It was Lucos Wernimont from Sioux Central and Landon Sporrer who had gotten out to first and second coming out of the back half of the course while Riley Aragon was close behind in 3rd. In the blink of an eye during the looping part of the course, Aragon would overtake both and have about a 5 foot lead on Wernimont who was in 2nd. It was a footrace to the finish line and by an inch Riley Aragon would win with a time of 16:51.90. Wernimont would get a 16:52.90. Sporrer took 3rd with a 16:58.70. South Central Calhoun had Declan Spencer in 15th with a time of 18:47.48. He has been a real strong runner for the Titans during the season so far. East Sac would finish in 2nd and SCC in 8th.
