The Hawks won a tight point to tie the set at 15, then won two straight points to win the match. The Wildcats played one of their best matches of the season but fell in three sets.

The Wildcats didn’t have much time to catch their breathe after the hard fought three set match against South Hamilton with the match against Ogden starting 3:00 after the match with the Hawks ended. Glidden Ralston struggled to get refocused and were physically tired. Ogden was able to take advantage and rolled to a two set win, taking both sets 21-10.

Glidden Ralston earned their win in their last match of the night, sweeping Des Moines Hoover. The Wildcats hit the ball well with a .256 efficiency, led by Kassidy Wenck with a .417 and Bryn Renze hitting .333. The back row did a nice job of keeping the ball alive, helping the Wildcats make 39 attacks. That was crucial in the second set, helping them rally back to earn the sweep. They trailed 11-6 in set two but went on a nice run to win 22-20.
Kassidy Wenck had a team high 5 kills and 7 digs. Olivia Squibb made 7 digs, Anna Steinkamp added 6 digs and a team high 3 aces. Chloe Peters had a strong night, adding 9 digs and a pair of kills. Amelia Garrett had 8 assists and 5 digs.
