South Central Calhoun hosted their second district game of the year when another 1-0 district opponent in Emmetsburg came to town. The E-Hawks trailed SCC 2-1 in the last three matchups with Emmetsburg winning most recently. The 1st Quarter was a slower one as both teams would get their offense in. The Titans stuck with their full house T and would get 7 on the board. The E-Hawks would match with a TD of their own. The Titans were very balanced with every score being a new receiver or ball carrier. Cade Higgins would have a passing touchdown to Hayden Stickrod. Coltley Timmerman, Luke Patterson, and Cooper Nattress would all have rushing touchdowns for the Titans. Both teams would once again score in the 2nd quarter but the E-Hawks separated themselves by getting a 20-14 lead going into the locker room for the half. Both would get 7 once again in the 3rd in a very good game on both ends of the ball. In the 4th, the Titans would go down and score to tie it at 27. The E-Hawks would take a kick back with 9 minutes left as the game would stall and the E-Hawks would hang on for a 34-27 win on the road. The Titans fall to 1-1 in district play and 2-3 on the season.
