Boys Cross Country Results Thursday, September 25th

IKM-Manning At ACGC Invite

IKM-Manning ran extremely well as a team, winning the meet at ACGC on Thursday with two runners in the top 5 and four in the top 10. Camden Morris led the way for the Wolves, finishing 2nd with a 18:31.60, followed by Akeo Maynard in 4th with a 18:52.70. Isaac Blankman ended up 7th with a 19:17.30 and Nathanael Conner added a 10th place with a 19:29.80. The Wolves won the invite easily with 33-points with Perry 2nd with 61-oiknts and Panorama in 3rd with 103-points. Preston Kent of ACGC was the individual champion, running a 18:05.40. Xaviore Diaz ended up 12th and Hunter Julin finished 19th.

East Sac and South Central Calhoun At MVAOCOU Invite

East Sac was outstanding as a team with Landon Sporrer pacing them again. The Raiders had three runners in the top 5 and all five in the top 20, helping them earn another team championship, out racing 2nd place Woodbine 44-points to 65-points. Declan Spencer led South Central Calhoun in 16th, helping the Titans finish 8th with 177-points. Landon Sporrer was 3rd for East Sac with a 16:56.36, Riley Aragon was 4th in 17:20.49 and Owen Engel was 5th, running a 17:23.72. Oliver Engel added a 15th for East Sac and Xander Hemer ended up 20th. Declan Spencer paced South Central Calhoun with a 19:13.15, taking 16th with Joe Thielen finishing 29th for the Titans. Aiden Summerfield of Woodbine won the event with a 16:47.77, Gabriel Bergman of OABCIG was 2nd, running a 16:51.03.
