Coon Rapids Bayard moved to 3-1 overall and 2-1 in 8-Man District 9. The Crusaders averaged 15.2 yards per carry on 18 attempts, running for 273-yards and seven touchdowns as they roll to a win on the road. The Crusaders broke off touchdown runs of 52-yards by Ethan Bauer, who carried the ball three times for 117-yards and three touchdowns Tucker Lewis added a 20-yard touchdown run, scoring twice on four carries and Andrew McAlister ran for 115-yards on ten carries, scoring a pair of touchdowns, including a 17-yard run. Coon Rapids Bayard took control early, scoring 41-points in the 1st quarter to put the game away. The Crusaders mixed up the offense well, throwing fourteen times with nine completions for 115-yards and three touchdowns. Tucker Lewis was 7-11 throwing the ball for 90-yards and a pair of touchdowns. They hit seven different receivers with three scoring touchdowns, including Caleb Hoffman, Mason Culbertson and Sam Hoffman, who scored on a 40-yard pass.
The defense was as good as the offense, getting an interception and recovering a fumble. They played in the Tigers backfield most of the game, making thirteen tackles for loss with five sacks. Blake Heydon had a pair of sacks and Griffin Mohr and Eli McAlister both had three tackles for loss. Max Shirbroun recovered a fumble and Ben Heithoff had the Crusaders interception.
