Carroll At Fort Dodge Invite
Carroll had a strong day at the Fort Dodge Invite on Saturday, taking 2nd place in a relay along with five 3rd place finishes with two in relays and three in individual events. Sophia Malone was one of the Tigers top performers taking 3rd in the 100 Breast in 1:20.70 and anchoring the 3rd place in the 400 Free relay. The 400 Free Relay consisted of Ava Hinote, Harper Ladwig and Samantha Cadwell with Malone. They swam a 4:23.56. Samantha Cadwell added a personal best in the 100 Free with a 1:11.97. Harper Ladwig, Alexis Borkowski, Brylie Behrens and Grace Schoonover had their highest finish, taking 2nd in the 200 Medley Relay in 2:04.37. Schoonover added a 3rd in the 500 Free, swimming a 6:11.37. Carroll was strong in relays all day, taking 3rd in the 200 Free Relay in 1:51.69 with Brylie Behrens, Sophia Malone, Ava Hinote and Grace Schoonover. Harper Ladwig was 3rd in the 100 Back in 1:08.66, helping Carroll take 4th with 204-pionts, just behind Algona, which scored 206-points. Sioux City Metro won the meet with 371-points.
The Tigers join Spencer at Atlantic on Tuesday.
