Girls Cross Country Results Tuesday, September 16th 

IKM-Manning At AHSTW

IKM-Manning ran two girls on Tuesday at AHSTW so they didn’t have enough runners for a team score. Treynor won the meet with 37-points, having four runners in the top 10, including three in the top 7. Tri Center was 2nd with 52-points having their top four girls finish 11th-14th. Macy Rasmussen led IKM-Manning, running a 24:38.3 and finishing in 26th. Runner in the same group was Catherine Conner. Conner finished 28th with a 24:48.8.  Lili Denton of St Albert was the champion, running a 18:27.3.

Kuemper At Storm Lake Invite 

Kaci Wiederien led Kuemper at the Storm Lake Invite with Anna Seidl right behind her as the Knights finished 10th with 262-points on Tuesday. The Knights did a good job of running as a pack with four runners within a minute and a half of each other. Sioux Center won the meet with 41-points, having four girls in the top 10. MOC Floyd Valley was 2nd with 66-points, led by Natalie Anderson, who won the event with a 19:05.42. Harlan was 3rd with two girls in the top 10. Kaci Wiederien ran a 24:24.63, finishing in 49th in her first race of the season. Anna Seidl finished 50th with a 24:27.60 for the Knights. Logan Lee continues a strong start to her season with a 25:19.26, taking 60th place.

South Central Calhoun At Sioux Center

Iris Melody had a strong run for South Central Calhoun, taking 3rd at Sioux Central with a 21:54.90. She helped the Titans take 5th with 101-points. Sioux Central won their home meet with 42-points, having three girls in the top 5. Tyra Schupbach of West Bend Mallard won the meet with a 19:57.06. Sibley Ocheyedan was 2nd with 49-points. Jossa Haupert had another good run for South Central Calhoun, finishing in 27th with a 26:00.06. Abby Kistenmacher was 35th and Katie Burley was 37th for the Titans.
