Brincks Exteriors Sports Report: Boys Cross Country From Ridge View

Boys Cross Country Results Saturday, September 13th 

Kuemper, Ar-We-Va, IKM-Manning, East Sac and South Central Calhoun At Ridge View Invite 

Kuemper, East Sac and IKM-Manning all had strong days with the Knights running in Class A and East Sac and IKM-Manning competing in Class B. Kuemper was 3rd with 75-points, finishing behind Sioux City North, 39-points and MOC Floyd Valley, which won the meet with 39-points. East Sac was 2nd in Class B, finishing with 111-points, behind champion Riverside, which had 33-points. IKM-Manning was 6th with 170-points, South Central Calhoun ended up 14th with 348-points and Ar-We-Va had no team score.

Dayton Wiederien had a very strong day for the Knights, taking 4th in 17:06.80. Kuma Gutema of Sioux City North was the Class A champion, running a 15:29.70. Fletch Badding (13th) in 18:32.90, Thomas Pottebaum (17th) with a 18:46.80 and Wyatt Wunschel (19th) with a 18:50.90 gave the Knights three more runners in the top 20.

The Raiders had three runners in the top 10, led by Landon Sporrer in 8th in 17:28.30, Riley Aragon in 9th with a 17:33.60 and Owen Engel in 10th, running a 17:35.90. Akeo Maynard paced IKM-Manning in 26th, running a 18:28.90 and Isaac Blankman was 32nd for the Wolves in 18:47.90. Declan Spencer led South Central Calhoun in 42nd with a 19:22.80 and Weston Toft paced Ar-We-Va with a 19:49.90, taking 56th.
