Griffin Glynn returned the opening kick 90-yards for a touchdown and the Knights were off and running to their third win of the season. They blew the game open in the 1st quarter with 21-points, adding 21 more in the in the 2nd quarter to lead 42-7 at half. Brock Badding and the passing game were terrific and the defense was every bit as good or better. Kuemper held Shenandoah to 64-yards in the 1st half and 130-yards in the game. The Knights got five touchdown passes from Brock Badding with five different receivers catching a touchdown pass. The run game was effective, rushing for 113-yards on 21 carries.

It took 16 seconds for Griffin Glynn to ignite the  Knights as he took the opening kickoff 90-yards for a touchdown. Brock Badding was strong all 1st half, throwing five touchdowns, including hitting Griffin Glynn for 32-yards and Braxton Vonnahme for 22-yards in the 1st quarter. The Knights led 21-0 going into the 2nd quarter and kept the offense rolling. Badding finished the half 13-15 for 211-yards, finding Brayton Alford, Ryan Lucas and Jarin Hoffman for touchdowns in the 2nd quarter. Hoffman was effective in the run game, not allowing Shenandoah to focus solely on the pass game. The Mustangs got on the board in the 2nd quarter on a touchdown run by Joe O’Rourke. The Knights led the game 42-7 at half. Neither team scored in the 2nd half with the half played with continuous clock.

Brock Badding finished the game 14-17 passing for 225-yards and 5 touchdowns. Brayton Alford, Griffin Glynn, Ryan Lucas, Braxton Vonnahme and Jarin Hoffman all caught touchdown passes with Glynn and Alford both catches 4 passes and Glynn having a team high 76-yards receiving. Glynn scored on 90-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.

The Knights are 3-0 heading into district play next Friday at home against OABCIG.
