Audubon continues to look like a team that is underrated as they roll to their third win to start the season. Ar-We-Va dropped their first district game and will look to bounce back next week. The Wheelers ran the ball 44-times for 370-yards and nine touchdowns. They were perfect in the passing game, going 3-3 for 66-yards. Five different Wheelers carried the ball. Ar-We-Va had the ball for 33-plays, rushing it 15 times for 31-yards and throwing the ball for 33-yards on 7-18 passing.

Carson Wessel put the Wheelers ahead on their first possession of the game, scoring on a 37-yard run with 10:11 left in the 1st quarter. Wessel pushed the lead to 14-0 late in the 1st with a 4-yard run. Ar-We-Va answered with Wyatt Ragaller breaking free for a 74-yard kick return with 3:51 left in the quarter. The Rockets pulled within 14-7 and had the momentum. Audubon grabbed the momentum back, scoring on a 13-yard run by Aiden Kjergaard on their next possession, stretching the lead to 22-7 with 1:26 left in the 1st quarter. The lead grew quickly in the 2nd quarter as the Wheelers recovered a fumble on the kickoff. Carson Wessel scored his third touchdown with a 5-yard gain. The Rockets offense was unable to pickup a first down and Audubon took advantage after the punt. They extended the lead to 38-7 on a 27-yard touchdown scamper by Mason Kasperbauer. Audubon sealed the win midway through the 2nd quarter with 28-yard touchdown run by Carson Wessel, going up 46-7 with 6:05 left in the 1st half. The Wheelers led 54-7 at half.

Audubon scored a defensive touchdown in the 3rd with Carson Wessel taking an interception 20-yards for a touchdown. The Wheelers reserves played the rest of the half, scoring three touchdowns the rest of the game.

Carson Wessel led the Wheelers with 128-yards on 9 carries for 4 touchdowns. He added an interception for 20-yards and a touchdown. Brody Otten had 1 catch for a 25-yard touchdown. Paxton Beane added 12 carries for 89-yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Wyatt Ragaller had a 74-yard touchdown on a kickoff return. He added 9.5 tackles with 8 of them solo. Devon Ehlers had 8 tackles with 7 solo and Tyson Von Glan finished with 5.5 tackles.

The Wheelers are 3-0 and will head to CAM on Friday on 93.7 KKRL. Ar-We-Va falls to 1-2 and will host Exira-EHK on Friday.
