South Central Calhoun hosted Earlham to open up the 2025 football season. SCC came into the matchup 0-2 against Earlham all time. SCC got on the board twice early in the 1st quarter. Cooper Nattress would have two rushing TD’s in the 1st quarter. The Titans took a 14-0 lead into the 2nd. Earlham would bounce back in the 2nd quarter. With 9:30 left in the 2nd, the Cardinals would punch it in to trail 14-6. They would punch another one in the 2nd quarter to tie it up 14-14. Halftime was 14-14 in a very close contest. Both teams would participate in a dog fight throughout the 3rd and most of the 4th quarter as it was a scoreless affair. SCC’s Cooper Nattress would push through for his 3rd rushing TD with 4 minutes to go. The Titans would hold on to edge out the Cardinals 20-14.
