Audubon hosted Harlan in girls’ tennis on Thursday afternoon. The Wheelers got things rolling this afternoon as they outscored Harlan 38-29 in singles. Briley Belnap and Marie Boehm both won with shutouts from the #1 and #2 positions. Both wins in the 3rd and 4th were hard-fought as MaKenna Nichols won 8-6 and Vivian Jackson won 9-7. Harlan would capture two wins in the 5th and 6th positions. In doubles, it was two big wins for Audubon to start things off. They would fall in the final doubles matchup but would ultimately secure a 6-3 victory on the night.

Kuemper hosted yet another Hawkeye 10 opponent in Denison-Schleswig on Thursday. Kuemper has seen their fair share of success throughout the year, and that was the same today. The Knights would sweep the 1-4 matchups, with only one matchup being over an 8-4 score. Charlotte Schwabe kept her undefeated record in both singles and doubles with an 8-1 win in singles and an 8-2 win in doubles. Kuemper would win 2-3 doubles matchups and pick up a 6-3 at home.
