Kuemper went over to Huxley and took on Ballard on Monday evening. Kuemper’s number 1 in Charlotte Schwabe has been on a tear this year as she has been undefeated coming into Mondays matchup. Today was much more of the same as she won 6-1, 6-4 against Addy Agena. Kuemper opened up 3-0 with Bella Lu and Regan Garringer winning both of their matchups as well. Ballard would sweep the 4, 5, and 6 matchups with no Knight scoring more than 3 points in a set. It was up to Doubles to decide the outcome of the night. Ballard would win the first doubles as Addy Agena and Zoe Wilson won 7-5, 6-1 over Bella Lu and Regan Garringer. Charlotte Schwabe and Priscilla Lineras would tie it back up with a win in doubles. Ballard would pick up a win in the final doubles matchup to take home the 5-4 win.
