Audubon earned a sweep at Red Oak on Monday in a match that was shortened by rain. The Wheelers won all three singles matches played and were leading in the number one doubles when it was called because of rain. The Wheelers improved to 2-1 in duals this season with the win. Briley Belnap was impressive in again in number one singles, earning an 8-2 win over Anna Butz. Vivian Jackson was dominant in number three singles, cruising to a 8-3 win and Lena Rieman battled to edge past Mariella Hernandez in number four singles, winning 8-6. The Wheelers were 24-11 in games in singles. Belnap and Nichols had the lead in number one doubles when rain forced the teams into a delay and eventually they meet was called. The other five wins for Audubon were non-contested wins.
The Wheelers are on the road later this week, traveling to Creston on Friday.
