Carroll had chances to get on the board, leaving eight guys on base with five in scoring position but weren’t able to string hits together as they fall on the road Friday. Sergeant Bluff-Luton had bounce go their way early, gaining momentum. They stretched the lead in the 4th and put it away in the 5th.
Chase Schable singled to open the game for Carroll and Stone Sibenaller walked but the Tigers left both on base. The Warriors struck first in the 2nd inning, getting a 2-run home run that bounced off a Tigers glove as the defender jumped and went over the fence. Carroll left Braxton Lu on 2nd in the 2nd inning and stranded Jackson Gross on 2nd and Stone Sibenaller on 1st base in the 3rd. Mason Stitz singled in the 4th and was stranded at 2nd base. The Tigers only had one baserunner the rest of the game. The Warriors took advantage of three walks and a double in the 4th to push the lead to 6-0. An RBI single in the 5th gave them the final spread.
Chase Schable and Mason Stitz both had a single for Carroll. Tallon Crandall pitched 2 2/3 innings, allowing 2 hits and 1 earned run with 4 strikeouts. Stone Sibenaller walked twice.
The Tigers finished the season 9-19.
