Kuemper and Denison finished up their game that was suspended previously due to weather. It was picked up in the 4th inning with Denison leading 9-1. Chloe Gehling had scored for the Knights in the 1st inning previous. Both teams would go scoreless in the final two innings as Denison would pick up the 9-1 win.

Denison and Kuemper faced off in the 2nd game of the 1 1/2 game doubleheader. Denison opened the 1st with a walk and reached on an error, with both of them scoring. Charlotte Schwabe and Kaylie Wolterman both got on but would be left stranded as the Knights trailed 2-0 after 1. Denison would add another in the 2nd as they take a three-run lead after the top of the 2nd. Kyla Wiskus would hit a double and be driven in by Morgan Masching to trail 3-1 after 2. Both teams would fall short until the 5th. Kuemper would have a huge 5th inning as the Knights would get their top 3 score before Addison Schon would blast a home run to take the 5-3 lead. Denison would come back in the top of the 7th with three runs to take the 6-5 lead. Kaylie Wolterman would lead off with a single to put the tying run on. Addison Schon would get walked as the winning run on first. Claire Venner would than blast a walk off 3 run home run for the Knights to win it 8-6.

Glidden-Ralston at Panorama

Glidden-Ralston traveled to Panorama in their final regular-season game Thursday evening. The Wilcats opened the game on the offensive end as they would score a run and lead 1-0 after the top of the first. Panorama would combat this with a run of their own to tie it up 1-1. Glidden would retake the lead in the 3rd with another one-run inning. The Wildcats would get seven hits all night but make the most of them with three runs. Their final run came in the top of the 7th. Panorama would take the lead in the 4th with two runs. They would then add 4 in the 5th and 1 in the 6th to take the 8-3 win at home.

Ar-We-Va at IKM-Manning

 

Ar-We-Va and IKM-Manning faced off in softball on Thursday evening. It was a fun night to close the regular season for both teams. Ar-We-Va opened up the game with two runs in the top of the 1st to take a 2-0 lead. IKM-Manning would combat that with three runs of their own to take a lead 3-2. Both teams would add a run in the 2nd with IKM-Manning holding the lead 4-3 after 2. Both teams would fall scoreless until the 5th. IKM-Manning would add 2 more in the 5th and hold on to a 6-3 victory at home.

OABCIG and South Central Calhoun faced off on Thursday night. The Falcons would kick off the 1st with 7 runs and a huge 7-0 lead after 1. The Falcons would add another 2 in the top of the 2nd as they led 9-0 after 2 innings of play. Both teams would score in the 3rd as the Falcons would get another 2 runs. SCC would have Haylee Wiederin, Shannon Melody, and Ellie Schumacher score in the 3rd to trail 11-3 after 3. The Falcons would close out with 1 in the 4th and 2 in the 5th to pick up the 14-3 win.

East Sac had their pinkout night on Thursday evening. They hosted a very good Ridge View squad. Ridge View opened up the evening with two on but left them stranded. Both squads would fail to score in the 1st. East Sac would score their first from Lauryn Lally in the 2nd. Ridge View got 2 in the 3rd as they took a 2-1 lead after 3. Ridge View would explode for 8 runs in the 4th as they would take a 10-1 lead. In the 5th, both teams would add 2 more as Ridge View would pick up the 12-3 win in 5 Innings.
