Lauryn Lally drove in Chloe Bieret after Addisen Ehler scored on a wild pitch as East Sac took a 2-0 lead in the 1st inning against Ridge View on Saturday in their tournament opener. The Raiders extended the lead in the 2nd with Addisen Ehler singling home Lilly Lode, who had singled and stolen 2nd and 3rd base. The Raiders saw their lead dissipate in the top of the 3rd, as Ridge View got five straight batters reach base with 2-outs, scoring 4-runs to lead 4-3. East Sac answered in the bottom of the 3rd, regaining the lead. Makenna Steiger singled to start the inning and moved to 3rd on a double by Jordin Carroll. Both scored on a double from Sarah Bontrager, who stole home to give the Raiders a 6-4 lead. The Raptors grabbed the lead for good in the 5th, scoring 3-runs. A double followed by a single started the Raptors rally as they collected 5-hits in the inning to lead 7-6. Jordin Carroll doubled for East Sac in the bottom half but they couldn’t bring her home. Ridge View made them pay with a pair of runs in the 6th. A pair of singles and a Raiders error moved the Raptors lead to 9-6. East Sac tried to rally in the bottom of the 6th with Lilly Lode singling and stealing 2nd base. She scored on a single by Addisen Ehler but the Raiders final four batters didn’t reach base, falling 9-7.
Addisen Ehler, Jordin Carroll and Lilly Lode all had 2 hits with Ehler adding a pair of RBI and scored a run. Carroll doubled twice and a scored a run and Lode had a pair of runs scored. Sarah Bontrager had a double and drove in a pair of runs.

The East Sac offense struggled to get the offense on track against Alta-Aurelia in the final game of tournament play on Saturday, finishing with 2-hits in a 7-2 loss. The Warriors put the pressure on the Raiders early, getting three straight singles in the 1st inning to take a 1-0 lead. A Raider error in the 2nd inning pushed the Warriors lead to 2-0. East Sac tied the game in the top of the 4th. Chloe Bieret walked and moved to 2nd on a sac bunt from Makenna Steiger. Jordin Carroll singled to put runners on 1st and 3rd and both stole a base moments later with Bieret scoring and Carroll moving to 2nd. Carroll stole 3rd and home before the inning ended, tying the game at 2. A leadoff walk by Alta-Aurelia in the bottom 4th and a 2-out single gave the Warriors a 3-2 lead. The game slipped away from East Sac in the 6th with Alta-Aurelia scoring 4-runs on four hits, batting 10 batters in the inning.
Jordin Carroll and Sarah Bontrager both had a base hit with Carroll scored a run. Chloe Bieret added a run scored.
The Raiders slipped to 11-10 overall and will head to Glidden Ralston on Tuesday.

Anna Stangl and Alikxa McGinn both singled and scored in the 1st inning but IKM-Manning had only two baserunners after the 1st inning and fell in a big matchup at the Woodbine Tournament. Anna Stangl reached 2nd base in the 5th and Taylor Beckendorf got to 2nd base in the 4th. The Tigers cut into the Wolves lead with a run in the 1st inning and took the lead in the 2nd inning. A Wolves error with 1-out led to a pair of runs for Woodbine in the 2nd, putting them ahead 3-2. The game stayed tight with neither team scoring in the 3rd or 4th and Woodbine adding a run in the 5th. The Tigers separated themselves in the 6th while not collecting a hit in scoring 3-runs to lead 7-2.
Anna Stangl, Alikxa McGinn and Karlee Arp all had a base hit for IKM-Manning with Stangl and McGinn scoring a run each.

Woodbury Central took charge early with 7-runs in the 1st inning and topped IKM-Manning in 4 innings. The Wolves finished with 4-hits with Keagan Eischeid collecting a pair of them and Anna Stangl and Karlee Arp both added a base hit. Arp had 3 stolen bases and scored their run in the 4th inning. Woodbury Central added a run in the 2nd and 3-runs in the 3rd to lead 11-0 entering the 4th.
The Wolves fall to 8-15 overall and will host River Valley on Tuesday.

Ar-We-Va came out hot, scoring 4-runs in the 1st inning, highlighted by Aubrey McCollough doubling to score a pair of runs. Lawton Bronson responded in a hurry, scoring 5-runs in the bottom of the 1st, then blew the game open in the 4th with 11-runs to take a 22-4 lead. The Eagles had scored 3-runs in both the 2nd and 3rd inning to lead 11-4.
Gabby Hundling led the Rockets with 2 hits and scored a run while Aubrey McCollough had a double and 2 RBI. Morgan Berg, Mollie Leiting and Hallie McCollough all drove in an RBI and Berg, Jazmine Molina and Hallie McCollough all had scored a run.

The Rockets dropped their second game of the tournament, falling to the host Rebels in 5 innings. Westwood did all their scoring early, getting 3-runs in the 1st and 6-runs in the 2nd inning. Ar-We-Va had 4-hits with Amber Ragaller leading them with a pair of hits, She doubled and scored in the 3rd, driven in by Gabby Hundling. Sarah Melton tripled and Mollie Leiting got on base twice with a base hit and a walk.
The losses dropped Ar-We-Va to 4-7 overall. They travel to Glidden Ralston on Tuesday.

Kuemper hosted their Saturday tournament this weekend. It was the Knights, Harlan, Carroll, and Treynor. Kuemper and Harlan faced off in the 1st matchup which was used as a conference game as well due to their one this week being rained out. Harlan started off batting 1st and had two reach with an error and a single before 3 straight outs left them stranded. It was a slow morning for Harlan as they only got 3 hits through the 5 innings of play. Kuemper led off with 2 of their top 3 in Chloe Gehling and Charlotte Schwabe scoring for the Knights. Kaylie Wolterman hit in the 5 slot to and with Schwabe on at 2nd she blasted a 2 run home run to give the Knights a 3-0 lead. This would be followed up by Claire Venner getting on and being brought around as the Knights finished the 1st up 4-0 early. Harlan struggled in the 2nd and got no runs across, It was all Knights in this one with Charlotte Schwabe, Addison Schon, and Kaylie Wolterman scoring again for the Knights as they led 7-0. In the 3rd at the bottom of the order, Morgan Masching hit another home run for the Knights and was the lone score in the 3rd making it 8-0 after 3. Harlan and Kuemper would both trade 3 outs in the 4th. Kuemper would dominate the 5th with 7 of their top 8 girls scoring to finish the game and pick up the 15-0 win.

Carroll would get their 1st run in the 2nd and would trail 4-1 going into the bottom of the 2nd. Treynor would add another 6 runs in the 2nd and one in the 3rd to win it 11-1.

Kuemper advanced with their win over Harlan to the championship and took on a ranked Treynor team. Treynor opened the game with 6 runs on 3 hits to take a 6-0 lead after the top of the 1st. Kuemper had Chloe Gehling and Charlotte Schwabe reach on a bunt and an error but had no runs as they trailed 6-0. In the 2nd, Treynor added another 5 runs on 4 hits to take a 11-0 lead after 2 innings. Kuemper found their offense in the 3rd as they had Charlotte Schwabe, Addison Schon, and Abrey Pudenz score to trail 11-3. Kuemper would add 3 in the 5th and Treynor got 3 in the 6th to win it 14-6 and win the tournament.

Carroll took on Harlan in the 3rd place game and it was a fun one to watch. Harlan started out at the plate and scored 6 in a good offensive opening. Carroll took that and struck back with 3 runs of their own to make it 6-3 after 1. Harlan would add 2 in the 2nd and 1 in the 3rd as they pushed their lead to 9-3 after 3. In the 5th both teams would score as Harlan got 2 and Carroll got 1. Harlan would close out the game with 6 runs and won it 17-4 to take 3rd.
