Carroll and Boone finished up a doubleheader that was suspended on Monday. Boone earned a win in the completion of the 1st game with Emma Danner picking up the lone hit for Carroll. The Toreadors put the bat on the ball, finishing with 25 hits, scoring 20-runs. The Tigers hung tight early, down 7-0 going into the 4th inning but Boone was able to string hits together, scoring 12-runs to take a commanding lead.
Emma Danner was 1-2 at the plate for Carroll.

Tahlia Hahn and Chloe Koster got on base for Carroll in the second game of the doubleheader. Koster walked in the 3rd inning and Hahn had a leadoff double in the 4th. Carroll battled all game with Boone pulling away late to end the game in 4 innings. The Toreadors scored in every inning, getting 3-runs in the 1st and 2-runs in the 2nd inning to lead 5-0. They added a run in the 3rd, then pushed 5-runs across the board in the 4th.
Tahlia Hahn was 1-2 with a double for Carroll.
The Tigers fall to 1-18 overall and will play Treynor in the opening round of the Kuemper Tournament on Saturday At 10:00.

Kuemper had a chance to hang close early, getting a single from Lauren Gehling and a walk by Addison Schon in the bottom of the 1st but they weren’t able to score and the Titans held a 3-0 lead going to the 2nd. They separated themselves in the 2nd inning, pouring in 7-runs to lead 10-0. The Titans batted thirteen girls in the 2nd, collecting 8-hits with three of them home runs. Morgan Masching was Kuemper only baserunner over the final three innings, bunting her way on base in the 3rd inning, then stealing 2nd base.
Lauren Gehling and Morgan Masching both had a base hit for Kuemper with Masching adding a stolen base.
Kuemper falls to 9-13 overall and will host Harlan in a Hawkeye 10 Conference game and the opening round of the Kuemper Tournament on Saturday At 10:00.

The Spartans came up clutch in a win over 10th ranked Missouri Valley. Taryn Petersen had a 2 RBI single, scoring Alissa Testroet and Jordan Mulford in the bottom of the 6th to give them a 6-4 lead. A pair of errors in the top of the 7th gave Missouri Valley a chance to tie the game, pulling with a run with 1-out and a runner at 3rd base. Riley Miller picked up a huge looking strikeout for the 2nd out and Miller noticed the runner on 3rd trying to steal home after getting the ball back and threw to Zoey Rasmussen who applied the tag at the plate to end the game, preserving the win. The Spartans trailed 2-0 going into the 3rd before scoring 4-runs to grab the lead. The Big Red responded with a pair of runs in the 5th to tie the game.
Missouri Valley had a couple base hits in the 1st inning, scoring a run to take the early lead. Riley Miller doubled for Exira-EHK-Audubon in the bottom half but the Spartans were able to follow it up with another hit. The Big Red added a run in the 2nd inning, getting a pair of hits before scoring an unearned run to lead 2-0. The game swung in Exira-EHK-Audubon direction in the 3rd after Missouri Valley left a runner on base in the top half. Taryn Petersen sparked the rally with a 1-out double, stealing 3rd and taking home on a strikeout that was dropped at the plate. Riley Miller hit her second double with 2-outs and Maya King ran for her. Abby Wanser had a base hit to score King, tying the game at 2. Lucy Stanerson singled and Zoey Rasmussen had a double to score Wanser and Stanerson, giving the Spartans a 4-2 lead. Missouri Valley battled back in the 5th. A singled started the inning and a solo home run tied the game later in the inning. Bryli Petersen started the rally for the Spartans in the 6th, battling for a walk. Alissa Testroet reached on a fielder’s choice when Missouri Valley tried to get Petersen out at 2nd base. Both runners were safe but Missouri Valley was able to get Petersen out at 3rd when Jordan Mulford reached on a fielder’s choice, sac bunt. A wild pitch moved the runners to 2nd and 3rd and Taryn Petersen ripped a base hit to the outfield, scoring Testroet and Mulford. The Spartans took a 6-4 lead into the 7th. A base hit and an error put a runner in scoring position for Missouri Valley. A second error on Exira-EHK-Audubon put the tying run on base. A sac fly scored a run and moved the tying run to 3rd. Riley Miller got ahead of the next batter and struck her out for the 2nd out. Miller got the ball back from Zoey Rasmussen after the strikeout and the runner on 3rd broke home and was thrown out to end the game.
Taryn Petersen had a pair of hits with a double and the 2 RBI that were the game winning runs. She added a run scored. Riley Miller had a pair of doubles and earned the win in the circle, allowing 3 earned runs and 9 hits in 7 innings. Abby Wanser had a base hit an RBI and scored a run and Zoey Rasmussen added a double and 2 RBI.
The win moves Exira-EHK-Audubon to 10-11 on the season. The Spartans host Woodbine on Monday.

East Sac was dominant in every facet of the game on Friday, earning a win on the road in 4 innings. The Raiders had five straight batters reach base in the 1st inning, scoring 3-runs. They added a pair of runs in the 2nd, then had a huge 3rd inning, scoring 6-runs to blow the game open. They kept the pressure up with 4-runs in the 4th. Miranda Gerdes and Makenzie Friedmann were in control in the circle, combining to allow 2-hits and 1 earned run over 4 innings.
Chloe Bieret singled in the 1st, followed by an RBI double from Makenna Steiger. Steiger scored later on a passed ball and Jordin Carroll, who singled scored on a single by Sarah Bontrager. Chloe Bieret added an RBI, reaching on an error in the 2ndand Makenna Steiger kept her big night at the plate going with a single to score Bieret. The Radiers batted ten girls in the 3rd with Sarah Bontrager and Makenzie Friedmann having RBI singles to start the inning. Addisen Ehler drove in a pair of runs and the Raiders took advantage of some walks by West Bend Mallard. Ehler added a 2 RBI double in the 4th and Makenna Steiger added an RBI single to give them a 15-1 lead.
Makenna Steiger had 3 hits with a double and 2 RBI to lead the Raiders attack. Chloe Bieret and Sarah Bontrager both had 2 hits with Bieret scoring 4 runs and Bontragr having a pair of RBI and scoring 2 runs. Addisen Ehler had a double and drove in 4 RBI. Miranda Gerdes earned the win, going 3 innings, allowing 1 hit and 1 earned run with 5 strikeouts.
The Raiders improved to 11-8 and will play Ridge View at the Alta-Aurelia Tournament on Saturday at 10:00.

Glidden Ralston hit the ball well but made some miscues in the later part of the game, helping Ogden take a commanding lead with two innings left to play. The Wildcats took their first lead of the game with a 3-run 4th inning, going up 5-3. The Bulldogs tied the game with a pair of runs in the 4th, then scored 5-runs in the 5th to take control. Glidden Ralston out hit Ogden 9 to 7 and both teams made three errors but Ogden was able to take advantage of their extra baserunners.
Kassidy Wenck had a huge game at the plate with a pair of doubles as part of a 3 hit game. Ashlynn Tigges and Chloe Peters both added 2 hits and both scored a run with Peters adding an RBI. Bryn Renze doubled and scored.
Glidden Ralston falls to 11-4 overall and will host Boyer Valley on Monday.

Ar-We-Va moved within a game of .500 with a win on the road against the team they will see in the opening round of the playoffs. The Rockets pounded out 8 hits, driving in 11-runs in a 12-3 win. Amber Ragaller was strong in the circle, allowing 5-hits and 2 earned runs. Ar-We-Va took the lead for good in the 2nd inning after both teams scored a pair of runs in the 1st inning. They stretched the lead to 7-2 going into the bottom 3rd. The Crusaders fought back with a run in the 3rd but Ar-We-Va added 2-runs in the 4th and 3-runs in the 5th to take control.
Annalee Wittrock had a big night for Ar-We-Va, finishing with 3 hits and 3 RBI. Gabby Hundling had 2 RBI and scored twice, Emma Leiting scored 2 runs and Sarah Melton had a pair of RBI and scored 2 runs. Amber Ragaller had a base hit with 2 runs scored and earned the win in the circle, going 5 innings, allowing 5 hits and 2 earned runs with a pair of strikeouts.
Anna Hart, Jaymee Kracht and Maddy Mason all had 2 hits for Coon Rapids Bayard with Hart tripling both times, Kracht driving in 2 RBI and Mason having 1 RBI. Amelia Eddy added a base hit.
