Ar-We-Va hosted the 12-4 ranked Woodbine softball team. Woodbine came to play early as they opened the game on a 7 run top of the 1st inning. Ar-We-Va struggled on the offensive end as they totaled 0 hits and 0 walks. Woodbine than added another run in the 2nd. They led 8-0 after 2. They would proceed to add 3 in the 3rd and 2 in the 4th to win it 13-0 in 4 innings. Ar-We-Va drops to 3-3 on the year as they will face East Sac next Tuesday.

Exira-EHK-Audubon hosted Treynor on Friday. EEHKA came off a 2-1 loss on the road to LoMa Thursday. Treynor opened the game with no runs as they kept it scoreless 0-0 after 1. EEHKA failed to score as well with the offense for them tonight being slow. Treynor picked it up in the 2nd with 5 runs put up on the board as they went up 5-0 after the top of the 2nd. EEHKA failed to score again as they had 1 get on and be stranded. Treynor dropped a bit in the 3rd and 4th with 1 runs on the board and made it 6-0 in the top of the 4th. EEHKA added 2 in the 4th with Bryli Petersen and Lucy Stanerson to close it to 6-2. Treynor would score 9 in the 5th to win it 15-2.

IKM-Manning went to Avoca to take on AHSTW on Friday. It was a slow start for both teams as IKMM went 3 up and 3 down to open the top of the 1st. AHSTW would follow a similar suit with their own 3 up and 3 down to remain scoreless after 1. Both teams would fail to score until the 4th inning where AHSTW scored their lone run to make it 1-0 after 4. IKM-Manning answered in the 6th with Taylor Beckendorf scoring to tie it 1-1. The game would go extra innings with IKM-Mannng batting the full lineup in the 9th. Anna Stangl, Alikxa McGinn, Karlee Arp, and Keagan Eischeid all scored for the Wolves to win it 5-1.

A battle of two area teams went down on Friday. South Central Calhoun hosted East Sac. East Sac started out with a big 1st inning as 9 different girls scored out of the 12 that batted. Miranda Gerdes hit a 3 run home run in her 1st at bat. Chloe Bieret followed her in her 2nd at bat of the 1st as he hit a 3 run homer as well. SCC had a slow offensive night as they only totalled 1 hit. East Sac batted another 14 girls in the 2nd with 9 of them scoring. Miranda Gerdes hit her 2nd home run of the night with a 2 run shot over the center field wall. In the 3rd, the Raiders would bat another 13 and score 8 in this inning as they would take a 26-0 lead after 3. East Sac would score its final 3 in the 4th to close out a 29-0 win on the road.
