Glidden Ralston was aggressive at the plate, finishing with 15 hits and 6 extra base hits, including 2 home runs. They took advantage of every pitch near the zone, walking only one time. That approach at the plate helped them score 11-runs and end the game in four innings. Jenna Subbert cranked a home run in the bottom 1st as the Wildcats scored 4-runs. Ashlynn Tigges added a home run and the Wildcats scored 5-runs in the 3rd and led 10-0 going to the top 4th. Alta-Aurelia squeezed in an unearned run in the 4th but the Wildcats scored again in the bottom 4th to end the game.
Jenna Subbert had an incredible game with 3 hits including the home run and a pair of doubles. She had 4 RBI and scored twice. Ashlynn Tigges was also outstanding with 3 hits, a home run and a double, driving in 4 RBI and scoring 2 runs. Kassidy Wenck had 2 hits with an RBI and scored twice. Olivia Squibb scored twice, Kennedy Thooft had 2 hits and Allison Snyder had a base hit, scored a run and drove in a run. Jaelyn Subbert earned the win, allowing 1 hit and o earned runs with 8 strikeouts.
The Wildcats continue to roll, winning 8 of their last 9, improving to 10-2. They host Ridge View on Monday.

A 4-run 2nd inning jump started the Rockets offense as they rallied from down 32-0 to earn a 10-8 win. The Rockets and River Valley went back and forth all game with the Wolverines scoring on six of the seven innings and Ar-We-Va scoring in the final five innings they batted. They scored 3-runs in the bottom 6th and held River Valley to a run in the 7th to hold on. They never trailed again after taking the lead in the 2nd inning but couldn’t put the Wolverines away. Ar-We-Va finished with 11 hits and drove in every run.
Gabby Hundling singled to start the 6th inning rally. Emma Leiting reached on an error and Morgan Berg had a 2-run single, scoring Hundling and Leiting. Hallie McCollough walked and Jazmine Molina singled to score Berg.
Gabby Hundling had a team high 3 hits with a triple and an RBI. Emma Leiting and Morgan Berg both had 2 hits with Leiting having a double and triple, adding an RBI and Berg finishing with 3 RBI. Annalee Wittrock had a double and an RBI, Jazmine Molina driving in a run. Sarah Melton drove in a pair of RBI. Amber Ragaller earned the win, going 7 innings, allowing 11 hits and 5 earned runs with 5 strikeouts.
Ar-We-Va improves to 3-2 and hosts Woodbine on Friday.

Exira-EHK-Audubon suffers another close loss, falling 2-1 on the road at LoMa. They lost their fourth game this season by one run. The Panthers scored in the 1st, then rallied after Exira-EHK-Audubon tied the game with a run in the 4th. LoMa responded with a run in the 5th, then held on as the Spartans had a runners on 2nd and 3rd in the top 6th. Exira-EHK-Audubon left seven runners on base and LoMa led eleven runners on base.
A leadoff walk and a single put LoMa up 1-0 in the 1st. Audubon got out with no more damage done with the bases loaded. Riley Miller walked and Abby Wanser singled in the 2nd but the Spartans stranded them on 1st and 2nd. A leadoff single by Taryn Petersen in the 4th was followed two batters later with a single from Abby Wanser, scoring Petersen and Exira-EHK-Audubon tied the game at 1. Anna Larsen singled with 2-outs in the 5th and Lucy Stanerson singled but they were stranded at the end of the inning. The Panthers took advantage with a leadoff single in the bottom 5th. A 2-out singled scored the run and LoMa went up 2-1. The Spartans tried to answer in the 6th with Riley Miller singling and Zoey Rasmussen singling with 2-outs. A line drive to 1st base ended the inning and the Spartans rally fell short. The Spartans went down in order in the 7th.
Abby Wanser had a team high 2 hits, driving in a run for the Spartans. Riley Miller, Anna Larsen, Lucy Stanerson, Taryn Petersen and Brooklyn Snider all had a base hit. Taryn Petersen scored the run.
Exira-EHK-Audubon falls to 8-8 and will host Treynor on Friday.

The Wolves played very well and had a chance late but the ranked Cardinals pulled away late with 3-runs in the 6th and 3-runs in the 7th to go ahead 7-0. The defense had one of their best games of the season, not allowing any unearned runs. The offense collected only 2 hits. Anna Stangl led off the bottom 1st with a single and Kadynce Ketcham walked in the 1st but they were stranded on the corners. Keagan Eischeid walked in the 4th and Caylie Rasmussen was stranded at 3rd as the courtesy runner. Karlee Arp doubled in the 6th and was stranded at 3rd. Treynor took advantage of the missed opportunities by IKM-Manning. They clung to a 1-0 lead before the top 6th where they had a leadoff single and sued a double later in teh inning to score 3-runs.
Karlee Arp had a double and Anna Stangl had a single for the Wolves hits. Keagan Eischeid took the loss, going 7 innings, allowing 9 hits and 7 earned runs with 3 strikeouts.

IKM-Manning took the early lead but couldn’t hold of the 3-1 heading into the bottom of the 2nd inning. Alikxa McGinn doubled and scored in the 1st inning on a single by Karlee Arp. Treynor tied the game with a run in the bottom 1st but IKM-Manning struck in the top 2nd. Taylor Beckendorf reached on an error to start the inning. Macy Rasmussen singled and Kamryn Ketcham reached on a fielder’s choice, where Beckendorf was thrown out at home. Caylie Ramussen ran for Macy Rasmussen and scored and Olivia Linde ran for Kamryn Ketcham and scored on a single by Anna Stangl. Stangl doubled in the 5th and Kadynce Ketcham singled in the 6th and both were stranded on 3rd base at the end of the inning. Treynor answered the Wolves runs in the 2nd with 3-runs in the bottom of the 2nd, extending the lead with a 5-run 3rd, taking control of the game.
Anna Stangl had a pair of hits with a double and an RBI, Alikxa McGinn doubled and scored and Karlee Arp had a base hit and an RBI. Kadynce Ketcham and Macy Rasmussen both singled. Kadynce Ketcham took the loss, going 6 innings, allowing 10 hits and 9 earned runs with 4 strikeouts.
The Wolves fall to 6-11 and will head to AHSTW on Friday.
