East Sac scored a pair of runs in the bottom 7th to earn their first win over SE Valley since 2020. Cael Roth put the ball in play with Jordan Ulmer on 3rd and Landon Sporrer on 2nd. The Jaguars fielded the ball and tried to make a play on Ulmer who was trying to score. The ball sailed over the catchers head and both Ulmer and Sporrer scored, giving the Raiders a 3-2 win. East Sac scored in the 1st inning when Carter Erritt drove in Landon Sporrer. SE Valley took the lead in the top of the 7th scoring a pair of runs on a Raider error. The Raiders had a strong night on defense and got a great start on the hill from Zach Jacobsen.
Landon Sporrer and Cael Roth both had a base hit with Sporrer doubling and scored a pair of runs and Roth had a pair of RBI. Zach Jacobsen earned the win, going 6 2/3 innings, allowing 6 hits with 0 earned runs and 9 strikeouts.
East Sac improves to 3-9 overall and will travel to South Central Calhoun Thursday on KIKD 106.7.

Caden Oswald singled in the top of the 7th to score the game winning run as Coon Rapids Bayard edged by Woodbine in a tight, well played game. Both teams struggled to hit the ball but the Crusaders took advantage of a few more walks. Woodbine finished with 4 hits and held the Crusaders to 3 hits but Coon Rapids Bayard walked 8 times and only walked Woodbine 3 times with a hit-by-pitch giving the Tigers a fourth free baserunner. The Crusaders defense was fantastic all game, finishing with 1 error, that didn’t allow any runs. Cal Heydon was sharp on the hill, striking out 15 batters. Coon Rapids Bayard took a 1-0 lead in the 3rd inning with Jace Baker driving in the run on a squeeze bunt. Woodbine tied the game with a run in the bottom 4th.
Parker Hays, Jace Baker and Caden Oswald all singled for Coon Rapids Bayard. Baker and Oswald both had an RBI and Hays scored a run along with Ty Heydon scoring the other run while walking 3 times. Cal Heydon went the distance, pitching 7 innings, allowing 4 hits with 15 strikeouts.
The win improves the Crusaders to 15-2 overall and 6-0 in the RVC. They hold a one game lead on CAM and a two game lead on Woodbine. The Crusaders host Kuemper on Friday on 93.7 KKRL.

IKM-Manning suffered a tough loss as Alex Hansen pitched a strong game for Exira-EHK and the Wolves made some mental mistakes on the basepath, at the plate and defensively. The Wolves loaded the bases with no-outs in the 1st inning but had a runner pickoff at 1st and then struck out twice looking to end the inning with no runs. Blake Nelson doubled with 1-out and the Spartans loaded the bases. They attempted a suicide squeeze but missed the bunt. The Wolves would have had Nelson in a run down but he was able to steal home and put the Spartans up 1-0. Alex Hansen took over for the Spartans, striking out five straight batters and getting the Wolves in order in the 2nd and 3rd innings. Karsyn Lorenzen walked and Isaac Blankman was hit-by-pitch for the Wolves in the 4th but Lorenzen was picked off 1st and IKM-Manning didn’t score. The Wolves made back-to-back errors on a fly ball to the outfield and a sac bunt attempt in the bottom 4th, setting up a pair of runs for the Spartans, extending their lead to 3-0. Hansen got the Wolves in order in the 5th but IKM-Manning threatened in the 6th. Jace Starman reached on an error and Brock Kusel was hit-by-pitch but both runners were stranded on base. Abe Polzien struck out to start the 7th but beat the throw to 1st as the ball had rolled to the backstop. Alex Hansen settled down and got the Wolves in order to end the game.
Kasche Huehn and Brock Kusel both had a hit for the Wolves. Jace Starman took the loss, going 3 innings, allowing 3 hits and 1 earned run with 5 strikeouts.
The Wolves fall to 5-10 overall and will head to Treynor on Thursday.
