Jenna Subbert and Olivia Squibb each hit a home run as the Wildcats finished with 14 hits, including five extra-base hits in a 7-2 win over Manson NW Webster. The Wildcats had five girls with 2-hits as the offense scored in every inning but the 1st. Jaelyn Subbert was strong in the circle and the defense played well behind her. The big inning was the 3rd, when the Wildcats scored 3-runs. Manson NW Webster scored a run in the 3rd and the 7th inning.
Jenna Subbert and Oliva Squibb both had a pair of hits and a home run with Subbert driving in 3 RBI and Squibb scoring a pair of runs. Kassidy Wenck and Ashlynn Tigges both had 2 hits with each having a double. Wenck scored 3 runs and Tigges scored a run. Jaelyn Subbert had a pair of hits with an RBI while earning the win in the circle, going 7 innings, allowing 1 earned run on 8 hits with 10 strikeouts. Kennedy Thooft doubled and drove in a run.
The Wildcats improved to 9-2 and will host Ar-We-Va on Wednesday.

Riverside won the matchup of two of the best young pitchers in Western Iowa and the State, getting three unearned runs in the 1st inning and holding off several Spartan rallies. Exira-EHK-Audubon scored twice in the 4th to pull within 3-2 and had runners in scoring position but couldn’t get the extra hit as Peyton Schafer held them to four hits. Not to be out done, Riley Miller allowed only four hits to Riverside with two of them coming in the 1st inning. The Bulldogs got the lead runner on 1st base to start the game but Zoey Rasmussen threw her out at 2nd base and a strikeout from Riley Miller had the bases empty with 2-outs. Riverside began the rally with a double, followed by a pair of Spartan errors. A single scored a pair of runs and another Spartan error added a run to make it 3-0. Riverside got seven more baserunners throughout the game but only had one runner advance to 2nd base and she was stranded at 3rd in the 4th inning. Anna Larsen was stranded at 2nd base in the 1st inning after reaching on an error and stealing 2nd base. Abby Wanser doubled in the 2nd but was thrown out at 3rd base. Lucy Stanerson doubled to leadoff the 3rd and Jordan Mulford walked but both were stranded on base. Exira-EHK-Audubon broke through in the 4th. Riley Miller reached on an error and Maya King scored (running for Miller) on a single by Abby Wanser. Wanser scored to pull the Spartans within 3-2. Lucy Stanerson singled but was stranded at 3rd. Taryn Petersen reached on an error in the 5th and stole 2nd and 3rd base but was stranded there. The Spartans had one more baserunner in the 6th when Bryli Petersen walked but she didn’t get past 1st base.
Abby Wanser had a pair of hits with a double, driving in a RBI and scoring a run. Lucy Stanerson had 2 hits with a double. Maya King scored a run. Riley Miller took the loss, giving up 3 unearned runs on 4 hits in 7 innings. She struck out 11.
Exira-EHK-Audubon falls to 8-7 and will travel to LoMa on Thursday.

Anna Hart hit a home run on the second pitch of the game but Griswold continued their strong season with 13-runs in the bottom 1st. They added a run in the 2nd and 3-runs in the 3rd, winning the game in 4 innings 17-1. The Crusaders put the ball in play, striking out only four times but the Griswold defense made their plays. Coon Rapids Bayard finished the game with 6 hits with Aubrey Hofbauer, Amelia Eddy, Piper Mason and Carlie Mason all having 1 hit. Anna Hart had a team high 2 hits. The Crusaders allowed 8 earned runs.
Coon Rapids Bayard falls to 0-12 and will head to Woodbine on Wednesday.

Alikxa McGinn had pair of this including a double but IKM-Manning couldn’t muster enough hits and fell 9-0 in 5 innings. The Wolves had three other baserunners with Karlee Arp walking and Taylor Beckendorf and Kamryn Ketcham both getting hit-by-pitch. Missouri Valley benefited from a Wolves error, scoring a run in the 1st. They added a pair of runs in the 2nd inning with three singles as they kept putting pressure on the Wolves. A 2-run home in both the 3rd and 4th inning began to separate the Bulldogs from the Wolves.
Alikxa McGinn led the Wolves with 2 hits, including a double.
IKM-Manning dropped to 6-9 and will head to Treynor on Thursday.

The Raiders rally fell a little short on Tuesday, falling 8-5 to MVAOCOU. The Rams scored 3-runs in the 1st inning and 2-runs in the 3rd, taking a 5-0 lead. The Raiders started to fight back in the 4th with Chloe Bieret singling. She moved to 2nd on a passed ball and scored on a single by Lauryn Lally. Lally scored when Sarah Bontrager singled. The Rams answered with a run in the bottom 4th and led 6-2. Jordin Carroll led off the 5th for East Sac with a single but was caught stealing. Makenzie Friedman singled with 2-outs, stole 2nd base before Jillian Mack reached on an error. Addisen followed with a single, scoring both runners, pulling the Raiders within 6-4. MVAOCOU added a pair of runs in the 6th, pushing the lead to 8-4. Makenzie Friedman singled in the 7th and scored on a groundout by Makenna Steiger. The Raiders had runners on 2nd and 3rd when the game ended.
