Kuemper hosted Harlan in a noon start time on Wednesday. Harlan opened this game strong with 3 runs from 7 batters. Kuemper managed to spark some offense as well with Mason Knerl getting walked and than stealing second. Knerl would get 3rd off of a walk to Landon Pottebaum. He would than steal home off of a wild pitch for the 1st run on the boar for the Knights. This would be their sole source of offense as they would manage no hits. The 2nd inning was much more of the same from Harlan. They would string 4 hits together and their first 3. The Knights could not find an answer as they would get 4 batters at the plate with 1 hit and an error but no runs on the board. Harlan would go 3 up and 3 down in the 3rd, with the Knights following a similar path. Harlan would score 4 of their 8 batters who would hit. Kuemper would score 7 in the next 3 innings but fall short as Harlan would prevail 12-8.

The game started slow for both as after 1 inning of play it was 1-0 in favor of Woodbine. The tigers would than explode for a 6 run 2nd inning and make it 7-0. They would than be shut out in the 3rd before scoring 3 more in the 4th to get to 10-0. They would than be scoreless both in the 5th and close out the game with Woodbine winning 10-0.

South Central Calhoun went to GTRA on Wednesday. There was a strong trend in the game as everytime that GTRA would score, SCC would find a way to score 1 more run right before. The 1st inning was scoreless from both but each team picked it up real fast. In the 2nd GTRA would get 1 with SCC getting 2 right before. SCC would keep up the pace as they would find 3 more in the 3rd to make it 5-3. Both teams would not score again until the 5th where GTRA would get 4 and SCC 5. Both would score 1 more each as SCC would pick up the 11-8 win on the road.

Coon Rapids-Bayard went to Ogden on Wednesday. CRB came into this game undefeated at 4-0. CRB would throw three pitchers in Blake Heydon, Max Shirbroun, and Ty Heydon. Shirbroun was credited with the win and Ty Heydon credited with the save. Cal Heydon had a two run single and double. Eli McAlister had a RBI single. Caden Oswald and Jace Baker also collected singles.

Audubon hosted Martensdale St. Marys on Wednesday. The Blue Devils offense was red hot this game. Both teams did not manage a run in the 1st inning. The Blue Devils scored 10 in the 2nd inning and made the game 10-0. This would be the start of a big game for the Blue Devils. They would find another 7 runs in 2 innings to make it 17-0. Audubon got their runs in the 3rd and 4th with 1 in the 3rd and 2 in the 4th as Brody Schultes, Ryan Hermansen, and Adam Obrecht all scored for Audubon. The Blue Devils would score 7 in the 5th to conclude the game 24-3.

Gilbert would than find success in the 3rd as they would get 5 runs on the board. Carroll would quickly match with 2 and make it 5-2 runs. Both teams would be scoreless again until the 6th. Carroll would score 2 and close it within one with an inning to play. Gilbert would tack one more on and hold off Carroll to pick up the 6-4 win.

East Sac was aggressive, especially on the base paths but weren’t able to push enough runs across the plate on Wednesday, falling at Emmetsburg 8-2. The Raiders collected five hits but were able to get on base with walks and getting hit-by-pitch. That helped them steal 17 bases but Emmetsburg made plays when they needed, holding East Sac scoreless until the 7th. The E-Hawks scored a run in the 1st inning, then added a pair of runs in both the 4th and 5th inning before pulling away with a 3-run 6th inning. East Sac answered with a pair of runs in the 7th but fell to 2-4. 

Caleb Roth had a pair of hits with Landon Sporrer, Carter Erritt and Beckem Kluver all had a base hit. Carter Erritt had an RBI with Evin Wolff and Jordan Ulmer scoring a run. 

The Raiders host Alta Aurelia on Friday.
