Kuemper hosted Harlan in a noon start time on Wednesday. Harlan opened this game strong with 3 runs from 7 batters. Kuemper managed to spark some offense as well with Mason Knerl getting walked and than stealing second. Knerl would get 3rd off of a walk to Landon Pottebaum. He would than steal home off of a wild pitch for the 1st run on the boar for the Knights. This would be their sole source of offense as they would manage no hits. The 2nd inning was much more of the same from Harlan. They would string 4 hits together and their first 3. The Knights could not find an answer as they would get 4 batters at the plate with 1 hit and an error but no runs on the board. Harlan would go 3 up and 3 down in the 3rd, with the Knights following a similar path. Harlan would score 4 of their 8 batters who would hit. Kuemper would score 7 in the next 3 innings but fall short as Harlan would prevail 12-8.

East Sac was aggressive, especially on the base paths but weren’t able to push enough runs across the plate on Wednesday, falling at Emmetsburg 8-2. The Raiders collected five hits but were able to get on base with walks and getting hit-by-pitch. That helped them steal 17 bases but Emmetsburg made plays when they needed, holding East Sac scoreless until the 7th. The E-Hawks scored a run in the 1st inning, then added a pair of runs in both the 4th and 5th inning before pulling away with a 3-run 6th inning. East Sac answered with a pair of runs in the 7th but fell to 2-4.
Caleb Roth had a pair of hits with Landon Sporrer, Carter Erritt and Beckem Kluver all had a base hit. Carter Erritt had an RBI with Evin Wolff and Jordan Ulmer scoring a run.
