Kuemper girls fell behind early, trailing 2-0 at half as they suffer a 3-0 loss on the road to close out the regular season. The Knights got 8 saves from Addy Anthofer but weren’t able to get their offense going against a strong Eagle defense and the weather conditions.
The Knights wrap up the regular season 13-4-2 and host Missouri Valley on Wednesday in Class 1A Region 6.

East Sac got a pair of goals in the 1st half on their way to a 2-0 win to close out the regular season. The Raiders controlled the ball most of the match but struggled to score near the net, taking 14 shots on goal before Sarah Bontrager broke through for their first goal with 6:53 left in the half. That sparked the offense as Chloe Bieret added a goal three minutes later, putting the Raiders up 2-0 at half. East Sac dominated the ball in the 2nd half, taking 17 shots but not able to score.
Chloe Bieret and Sarah Bontrager each had a goal with Bieret having 8 shots and Bontrager with 5 shots and Jordin Carroll added 9 shots.
East Sac moves to 4-7-3 and will host West Sioux in the opening round of Class 1A Region 2 on Monday.
