Girls Regional Golf Results Friday, July 16th 

Kuemper At Riverbend Golf Course- Class 2A

Kuemper advanced with a strong performance on Friday, finishing in 2nd with a 385. They held off Van Meter, which took 3rd with a 390. Roland Story won the meet by 41 strokes, shooting a 341. Brinley Carlson of Roland Story led the Norseman and was Medalist with a 72. Roland Story had four golfers in the top nine and five in the top 12. Elsa Tiefenthaler of Kuemper was Runner-Up Medalist with an 82. Kuemper had two players in the top 8 and their top four scores were in the top 23.

Addy Beiter led the Knights, shooting an 82 with a 42 on the front and a 40 on the back. Beiter shot par on four holes on the front and four holes on the back earning Runner-Up Medalist. Elsa Tiefenthaler added a 91 with a 45 on the front and a 46 on the back. She had 3 par on the front and 2 par on the back.  Giada Lujano finished with a 103, shooting a 53 on the front and a 50 on the back. Lujano shot 2 par on the back. Addison Tigges shot a 109 with a 54 on the front and 55 on the back. Tigges had two par on the front.

Kuemper advances to play at Riverbend Golf Course on Wednesday.

Coon Rapids Bayard and IKM-Manning At Boyer Valley- Class 1A 

Coon Rapids Bayard advanced to the Regional final at Crestwood Hills on Wednesday taking 2nd place with a 450. IKM-Manning battled the winds all day, finishing in 7th place with a 485. The Crusaders had their top four scorers were in the top 24 with Mallory Schroeder leading the way with a 105, finishing in 5th place. The Wolves were led by Ryelyn Summerfield with a 114, taking 18th place. All four of their scorers were in the top 31. Earlham won the meet with a 399, having Medalist Savannah Charlet with a 95 and Piper Koberg earning Runner-Up Medalist for the Cardinals with a 95. Earlham had four scores in the top six and five scores in the top eight.

Mallory Schroeder led the Crusaders with a 105, shooting 48 on the front and 57 on the back. She had a birdie on the front and a par on the back. Kerra Hart shot a 111 with a 55 on the front and a 56 on the back. Hart had a par on the front and a par on the back. Ella Heithoff added a 112 with a 58 on the front and a 54 on the back, having a par on the front. Brielle Bass finished with a 122 with a 61 on both the front and back with a par on the front.

Ryelyn Summerfield paced the Wolves with a 114, shooting a 58 on the front and a 56 on the back. She had a birdie on the back. Abby Williams shot a 117 with a 57 on the front and a 60 on the back. Maybelin Valladaras had a 121 with 62 on the front and a 59 on the back and Ella Langel finished with a 133 with a 66 on the front and a 67 on the back.

Glidden Ralston and South Central Calhoun At Aurelia Golf Club- Class 1A

South Central Calhoun earned their way to the Regional Final at Primghar Golf and Country Club on Wednesday, taking 3rd with a 424. The Titans had two players in the top eight and all four of their scorers were in the top 20. Glidden Ralston only had two golfers so no team score. They had both golfers in the top 37. Newell Fonda won the meet with a 407 with Alta-Aurelia in 2nd place with a 409. Avery Westphal of Alta-Aurelia was the Medalist with a 89 with Macy DeMey of Newell Fonda the Runner-Up Medalist. The Mustangs had four scores in the top 10 with Alta-Aurelia having two in the top 3.

Adlen Wheelock led South Central Calhoun with a 100, finishing 4th with Sophia Wuebker taking 8th with a 105. Wheelock shot a 54 on the front and a 46 on the back with a par on the front and two on the back. Wuebker had a 53 on the front and a 52 on the back. Charissa Nowatzke finished with a 107, going 53 on the front and a 54 on the back and Kyra Bruns added a 112, shooting a 59 on the front and a 53 on the back.

Emmersynn Chaney shot a 116 for Glidden Ralston with a 59 on the front and a 57 on the back. Madilynn Trost added a 137 with a 66 on the front and a 71 on the back.

East Sac At Clarmond Country Club- Class 2A

East Sac advanced on Friday, finishing 2nd with a 408, behind only Grundy Center with a 371. The Raiders had a pair of players in the top seven and all four of their scores in the top seventeen. Grundy Center dominated the top of the standings with four scores in the top five and all six of their golfers in top fifteen. Leah Larsen of Grundy Center was Medalist with a 86 and Avery Knutsen of Grundy Center was Runner-Up Medalist with a 92. MaKenna Steiger broke the Grundy Center dominance with a 3rd place finish for East Sac, shooting a 94. She finished with a 94 with Ella Wilson scoring a 102 to finish in 7th. Eagle Grove was the 3rd team to advance with a 418.

Makenna Steiger shot a 94 for East Sac, having a 46 on the front and a 48 on the back. She had 3 par on the front and 2 on the back. Ella Wilson had a 102 with a 53 on the front and a 49 on the back. Wilson had a birdie on he back and a par on both the front and back. Brooke Burns finished with a 105 with a 52 on the front and a 53 on the back. Burns had two par on the front. Kendall Quirk added a 107 with a 56 on the front and a 51 on the back. Quirk had  apar on the front and two par on the back.

The Raiders head to Pine Lake Country Club on Wednesday.

Mari Gleason had a strong round for Audubon, finishing with a 103 with a 49 on the front and a 54 on the back. She had a par on the front. Emily Foran shot a 127, going 68 on the front and a 59 on the back and Sydney Johnson had a 130 with a 62 on the front and a 68 on the back.  The Wheelers only had three golfers, so no team score. Red Oak won the meet with a 359, followed by Shenandoah with a 374 and Treynor with a 381. Brynn Knaus of Red Oak was the Medalist, shooting a 77 and Sophi Pedersen of Treynor was Runner-Up Medalist with a 78.
