Boys Sectional Golf Results Wednesday, May 14th
East Sac, Kuemper and South Central Calhoun At Sac City- Class 2A
Kuemper and South Central Calhoun advance to the District meet at Carroll National on Monday after taking 1st and 2nd at the Sectional in Sac City on Wednesday. The Knights won the meet with a 301, having four guys in the top 8 including Medalist in Braxton Vonnahme with a 72 and Runner-Up Medalist with Kayden Schon shooting a 74. South Central Calhoun was 2nd with a 316 with three players in the top 10, led by Caleb Gaffney and Kaden Dorman both shooting 77 to finish 5th and 6th respectively. East Sac fell short of advancing, shooting a 338, finishing in 6th place. The Raiders had Jack Gullett and Kason Schroeder both shot 81 to finish in 13th and 14th respectively. Panorama was the final team to advance to the District meet on Monday, shooting a 324 to finish in 3rd.
Braxton Vonnahme led the Knights with a 72, earning Medalist with Kayden Schon adding a 74 for Runner-Up Medalist. The Knights also received a 76 from Jack Lenz, finishing 4th and Dawson Billmeier finishing 8th with a 79.
Caleb Gaffney and Kaden Dorman led the Titans with both shooting 77 with Gaffney in 5th and Dorman in 6th. Charlie Nattress added a 79 to finish in 10th. Halas Steig shot a 83 and finished in 18th.
Jack Gullett and Kason Schroeder both finished with an 81 for East Sac with Gullett in 13th and Schroeder finishing in 14th. Zach Jacobsen added a 83 to finish in 17th and Carter Erritt had a 93 and finished in 37th.

Audubon, Coon Rapids Bayard, Glidden Ralston and IKM-Manning At Onawa- Class 1A
Coon Rapids Bayard rolled at the Sectional on Wednesday with their top four scorers finishing in the top six helping them to advance to the District meet on Monday At Willow Creek. Audubon also advanced, finishing in 3rd as a team with two players in the top six. Jackson Whitaker of Glidden Ralston also advanced as an individual. The Crusaders won the meet with a 320, followed by West Monona with a 348 and Audubon with a 355 with all three teams advancing to the District Meet. Glidden Ralston had Jackson Whitaker in the top 10, shooting a 376 as a team to finish in 5th with IKM-Manning noe spot behind them with a 406 to finish in 6th.
Gavin Heiderscheit of Coon Rapids Bayard tied Chase Lander of West Monona with a 76 with Lander winning the playoff to earn Medalist and Heiderscheit finishing as Runner-Up Medalist. Max Shirbroun was 3rd with a 78 and Eli McAlister tied for 4th, shooting a 82 and Logan Kenyon shot an 84, tying for 6th. Cole Cretsinger scored didn’t count towards the team title but he finished with a 90 and was tied for 10th place.
Henry Burr was tied for 4th for Audubon, shooting a 82 and Sullivan McClain added a 84 to finish tied for 6th. Ryan Hermansen added a 91 and Oliver Deist had a 98.
Jackson Whitaker tied for 10th for Glidden Ralston, shooting a 90, advancing to District on Monday. Carson Peters shot a 92, Mason Dunn had a 95 and Greyson Renze finished with a 99.
Ashton Ahrenholtz led IKM-Manning with a 99, followed by Karsyn Lorenzen with a 101 and Kael Renze and Kasche Huehn both added 103.
