Carroll At Spencer- Class 3A Sectionals
The Tigers season came to an end on Tuesday, finishing 7th at the Sectional in Spencer. Carroll had three golfers shot in the 80’s and their fourth score was a low 90, giving them a 342, a few strokes behind Sioux Center, which finished in 6th with a 336. MOC Floyd Valley won the meet with a 294, followed by Spencer 306 and Spirit Lake at 312. Reid Doring of Spencer was the Medalist with a 71, shooting one under. Gavin Frederes of MOC Floyd Valley was Runner-Up Medalist with a 73, tied with his teammate Ian Grossman. MOC Floyd Valley finished 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th individually.
Wyatt Ragaller led Carroll with an 82, finishing in 22nd. He had six par on the front nine and five par on the back. Jake Jorgensen added an 83, shooting 42 on the front and 41 on the back with 7 par and a birdie. Mac Collison had an 85 with a 43 on the front and a 42 on the back with three par on the front and four on the back. Weston Bogue added a 92 with a 49 on the front and a 43 on the back. He had two par on the front with a birdie and two par on the back.
