Kuemper At Hawkeye 10 Conference Meet At Creston
Griffin Glynn was 2nd in the High Jump at 6-00.00 for Kuemper highlighting their run at the Hawkeye 10 Conference meet. The Knights were 7th in both the Shuttle Hurdle and 4×800 helping them score 12 points to finish in 11th place. Lewis Central won the meet with 162 points with Glenwood 2nd with 118 points.
Kuemper heads to Ogden on Thursday for their State Qualifying Meet.

Ar-We-Va, East Sac, Glidden Ralston, IKM-Manning and Paton Churdan At South Central Calhoun Jim Yunek Relays
It was a strong night for the area schools at Lake City on Thursday with five of the six schools winning a championship and all six schools having a minimum of three events in the top 3. IKM-Manning won the meet with 133 points, outdistancing South Central Calhoun, which finished in 2nd with 121 points. Ar-We-Va ended up 5th with 68 points, just ahead of East Sac in 6th with 60 points. Paton Churdan was 9th with 37 points, slipping past Glidden Ralston, which took 10th with 36 points.
Ben Ramsey won the 800 Meters for IKM-Manning, running a 2:08.21 and Jace Starman won the Shot Put with a 46-08.00. The Wolves won three relays, the 4×100 with Brock Kusel, Max Butler, Ashton Ahrenholtz and Abe Polzien in 44.81, 4×800 in 8:59.33 with Wyatt Danner, Tyson Smith, Xaviore Diaz and Kasche Huehn. Their other title was the Distance Medley with Max Butler, Ashton Ahrenholtz, Abe Polzien and Isaac Blankman, running a 3:46.18. Wyatt Danner was 2nd in the 800 Meters and the 4×400 with Tyson Smith, Xaviore Diaz, Kasche Huehn and Isaac Blankman was 2nd. Akeo Maynard took 3rd in the 3200 Meters. The Wolves were 3rd in the 4×200 with Merrick Stribe, Mason Benton, Zach Solberg and Brennen Morris. They also took 3rd in the Shuttle Hurdle with Eian Snyder, Jayce Ferneding, Karsyn Lorenzen and Brennen Morris.
South Central Calhoun won five titles with Cole Judisch winning the 400 Meters in 53.80, Redge Potts the 1600 Meters in 4:35.69, Jace Pedersen the Discus with a 138-06 and Andrew Anderson winning both the 110 Hurdles (15.62) and the High Jump at 6-00.00. They added five 2nd place finishes. Darius Eigsti in the 200 Meters and the 110 Hurdles, Jace Pedersen in the Shot Put with Wyatt Mernka 2nd in the Discus. Their final 2nd place was the Shuttle Hurdle with Darius Eigsti, Kylar Thompson, Hayden Stickrod and Luke Patterson. Kayden Hammen added a 3rd in the High Jump.
Wyatt Ragaller added a pair of titles for Ar-We-Va in the 400 Hurdles in 58.25 and the Long Jump at 20-07.50. Wyatt Ragaller was also part of the winning 4×200 with Devon Ehlers, Wade Ragaller and Johnathan Riesselman. They ran a 1:35.59. Blayne Smith was 2nd in the 400 Meters and was part of the 2nd place Sprint Medley with Devon Ehlers, Johnathan Riesselman and Wade Ragaller. The Rockets were 3rd in the 4×100 with Wade Ragaller, Blayne Smith, Johnathan Riesselman and Wyatt Ragaller.
East Sac won the Shuttle Hurdle with Xander Hemer, Gabe King, Reef Lankford and Landon Grindle in 1;12.41. Owen Engel was 2nd in both the 1600 Meters and 3200 Meters.
Trevon Keely had another strong night for Paton Churdan, winning the 100 Meters in 11.25 and the 200 Meters in 22.70. Keely was 2nd in the Long Jump.
Jonathan Bergmeier was 2nd in the 400 Hurdles for Glidden Ralston and he took 3rd in the 110 Hurdles and the Long Jump,
