Boys Tennis Results Thursday, May 8th 

Denison Schleswig At Kuemper

Kuemper rolled in their regular season finale, earning an 8-1 win over the Monarchs, going 5-1 in singles and 3-0 in doubles. The Knights were 53-17 in singles games and 30-14 in doubles games, finishing 83-31 in games overall. Kuemper won a pair of singles matches 8-0, from Carter Running and Braxton Lu. Max Reincke won 10-1, Landon Pottebaum earned a 10-2 win and Mason Reicks won 10-4. Reicks and Running won their doubles match 10-5 as did Landon Pottebaum and Emmett Juergens. Max Reincke and Braxton Lu earned a 10-4 doubles win.

The Knights head to Red Oak on Wednesday for the Class 1A District for singles and doubles.

Mason Reicks of Kuemper won 10-4 over Owen Galvin of Denison Schleswig 

Max Reincke of Kuemper won 10-1 over Grant Fink of Denison Schleswig 

Carter Running of Kuemper won 10-0 over Adonay Arellano of Denison Schleswig 

Landon Pottebaum of Kuemper won 10-2 over Jayden Bradley of Denison Schleswig 

Braxton Lu of Kuemper won 10-0 over Karson Schulz of Denison Schleswig 

Javin Baker of Denison Schleswig won 10-3 over Emmett Juergens of Kuemper

 

Doubles 

Mason Reicks and Carter Running of Kuemper won 10-5 over Adonay Arellano and Owen Galvin of Denison Schleswig 

Max Reincke and Braxton Lu of Kuemper won 10-4 over Jayden Bradley and Grant Fink of Denison Schleswig 

Landon Pottebaum and Emmett Juergens won 10-5 over Javin Baker and Karson Schulz of Denison Schleswig 

 

 

Clarinda At Audubon

Audubon fell at home to a strong Clarinda team, earning a win in singles and in doubles, while playing well in several of their losses. The Wheelers were playing without one of their top players, moving other players up one spot in the rotation. Isaac Jackson improved to 8-2 overall, earning an8-6 win in singles. The helped the Wheelers go 21-46 in singles games. Isaac Jackson teamed up with Kayden Otten for the first time this season in doubles, earning a 8-6 win. The Wheelers went 10-22 in doubles games.

The Wheelers host Council Bluffs Thomas Jefferson on Tuesday to end their regular season.
