IKM-Manning and Audubon traveled to Treynor for the WIC meet on Tuesday. IKMM got the better of the two teams with a 6th place finish and 73.5 team points as well as the only champion of the night. Both teams found themselves with big spurts of success sprinkled in throughout the night as now both teams turn their attention to next weeks state qualifying meets.
The only champion of the night belongs to the 4×200 relay of IKM-Manning with Tyson Smith, Ashton Ahrenholtz, Max Butler and Abe Polzien, who ran a 1:31.83.The 4×200 of IKM-Manning broke not only their school but the WIC meet record. Their 4×800 of Isaac Blankman, Tyson Smith Xaviore Diaz and Ben Ramsey took second. Lastly their 4×400 of Tyson Smith, Ashten Ahrenholtz, Max Butler and Abe Polzien took 2nd as well. Audubon’s Distance Medley of Mason Kasperbauer, Adam Obrecht, Jorgen Nowatzke and Aiden Kjergaard took 4th.

The Rolling Valley Conference meet hosted Coon Rapids-Bayard, Paton-Churdan, Ar-We-Va, and Glidden-Ralston on Tuesday. Every team performed very well and plenty of teams found their gold tonight. Most teams had either a champion or two with every team finding very high results at the end of the night. CRB finished the highest grabbing 4th place with 59 team points.
Trevon Keely won the High Jump and Long Jump with jumps of 21-00 in the Long Jump and 6-04 in the High Jump. For CRB Cal Heydon won the Shot with a throw of 51-09.50. Caden Oswald won the 100 with a run of 11.89. The CRB Shuttle Hurdle team of Johnny Cortez, Parker Hays, Lucas Obert and Cal Heydon won with a time of 1:05.93. Jonathan Bergmeier won the 110 Hurdles with a time of 15.73. Ar-We-Va finished second in the Sprint Med with Wade Ragaller, Jonathan Riesselman, Wyatt Ragaller and Blayne Smith.

South Central Calhoun and East Sac both competed in their conference meet. The Twin Lake conference meet in Sioux Central. South Central Calhoun placed higher at 3rd with 91.5 team points. Both schools found success throughout the entire night even with neither winning the conference of itself.
South Central Calhoun had Redge Potts win the 3200 and 1600 with times of 10:11.53 and 4:39.07. Jace Pedersen also won the Shot Put with a throw of 46-08. For East Sac Owen Engel took 3rd in the 3200. Logan Mohr took 4th in the Shot Put as well.
