Girls Golf Results Tuesday, May 5th 

Carroll and Kuemper At Atlantic Tournament At Nishna Hills 

Red Oak and Kuemper tied for the title on Tuesday with both teams shooting a 365. The Tigers earned 1st place and the trophy with the fifth player scorecard. Both teams led Lewis Central by 5 strokes and Shenandoah by 9 strokes as the top four teams separated themselves from the pack. Carroll was 10th, shooting a 450, well ahead of 11th place Harlan. Chloe Perfect of Lewis Central earned Medalist honors with a 74 and Taylor Rasmussen was Runner-Up Medalist with a 78. Kuemper had two players in the top 10 with Addy Beiter taking 5th place with a 80 and Elsa Tiefenthaler taking 9th place, shooting a 89. Ella Pick continues to improve, shooting a 93 for the Knights with Giada Lujano adding a 103.

Ella Perry led the Tigers with a 100, finishing 27th. She was followed by Amelia Henson with a 108, Reese Heller a 118 and Taylor Edwoldt with a 126 for Carroll.

South Central Calhoun At Pocahontas Area

Adlen Wheelock earned Medalist for South Central Calhoun but Pocahontas Area topped the Titans in the team race. The Indians had all six golfers shoot between 49-53 with the top four between 49-51. Wheelock shot a 44 for the Titans but they added a 50 and two more scores in the 60’s, finishing with a 220 to the Indians 200. Addison Shimon of Pocahontas Area was Runner-Up Medalist with a 49.

Charissa Nowatzke shot a 50 for the Titans with Kyra Bruns and Kaitlyn O’Neil both shooting a 63. Wheelock with her 44 had a par on holes 3 and 9. Nowatzke added a par of holes 2 and 7, Bruns shot par on hole 1.
