Ar-We-Va, East Sac, Kuemper and Paton Churdan At South Central Calhoun Ross Samuelson Relays
It was a strong night for area schools with South Central Calhoun winning their Ross Samuelson Relays with 136 points, Ar-We-Va was 5th with 59 points, East Sac and Kuemper both scored 56 points, tying for 6th and Paton Churdan was 8th with 32 points. The Titans had three champions and finished in the top 3 in 12 events. Ar-We-Va showed their speed, placing in the top 3 in six events. East Sac had a 2nd place finish, Kuemper had a champion and placed in the top 3 in five events and Paton Churdan had a pair of top 3 finishes with a championship.
Redge Potts won both the 1600 Meters (4:43.97) and the 3200 Meters in 10:10.36. Jace Pedersen picked up a title in the Shot Put with a 43-03. Wyatt Mernka was 2nd in the Discus, Darius Eigsti was 2nd in both the 200 Meters and he 110 Hurdles. Andrew Anderson was 2nd in the 400 Hurdles and the High Jump with Kayden Hammen taking 3rd in the High Jump. Jace Pedersen was 3rd in the Discus and Cole Judisch was 3rd in the 400 Meters. The Shuttle Hurdle finished 3rd with Andrew Anderson, Darius Eigsti, Hayden Stickrod and Kylar Thompson.
Wyatt Ragaller was 2nd in the Long Jump and Blayne Smith was 2nd in the 400 Meters. The Rockets were 2nd in the 4×200 with Devon Ehlers, Johnathan Riesselman, Wade Ragaller and Wyatt Ragaller. Weston Toft was 3rd in the 800 Meters. The Rockets were 3rd in the 4×100 with Devon Ehlers, Blayne Smith, Johnathan Riesselman and Wade Ragaller. They added a 3rd in the Distance Medley with Jack Musfeldt, Wyatt Riesselman, Damon Thomsen and Weston Toft.
East Sac finished 2nd in the 4×400 with Jack Gullett, Gabe King, Riley Aragon and Xander Hemer.
Kuemper claimed a title by dominating the 4×800 with Thomas Pottebaum, Wyatt Wunschel, Ryan Sundrup and Oliver Vonnahme. They ran a 9:01.67. Ryan Sundrup was 2nd in the 800 Meters while Easton Gifford was 3rd in the 200 Meters and Nash Leonard was 3rd in the Nash Leonard. The Knights took 3rd in the 4×200 with Cooper Thelen, Case Kock, Taylen Alford and Easton Gifford.
Trevon Keely won the High Jump at 6-02 for Paton Churdan and was 3rd in the Long Jump.
