South Central Calhoun edged Alta-Aurelia for the team title on Thursday with both teams shooting a 212. The tiebreaker determined the winner with South Central Calhoun having a 61 on their 5th player scorecard with Alta-Aurelia shooting 62. The Titans had their top four scores in the low to mid 50’s while Alta-Aurelia got a 45 from Medalist Avery Westphal with their other three scores in the mid to upper 50’s. SE Valley added a 223 and Storm Lake St Mary’s didn’t have a team score with two golfers.
Sophia Wuebker paced the Titans with a 50, earning Runner-Up Medalist, Adlen Wheelock added a 51 with a par on #7. Charissa Nowatzke shot a 55 with par on holes 2 and 4. Kyra Bruns finished with a 56.
The Titans host West Bend Mallard and OABCIG on Friday.

East Sac had four golfers shoot in the 50’s with Makenna Steiger their lone player in the 40’s. They finished in 2nd place with a 213, behind Newell Fonda, which won the meet with a 201. The Mustangs had a pair of 48’s with their other two scores in the low to mid 50’s. Rowyn Neilsen of Newell Fonda won the meet with a 48, edging Makenna Steiger of East Sac earning Runner-Up Medalist, also shooting a 48. Emma Hurd of Newell Fonda was the third player with a 48 as the Mustangs had three of the top four and four of the top six scores.
Makenna Steiger led the Raiders with a 48, earning a Runner-Up Medalist with Ella Wilson shooting a 53, Kendall Quirk with a 55 and Brooke Burns adding a 57. Wilson was 5th overall with Quirk 8th as the Raiders had three of the top eight golfers.
The Raiders get a rematch with Newell Fonda on Friday, hosting them in Sac City.

Underwood earned the team title as the only team with four or more golfers, shooting a 217 with three scores in the low 50’s and a 65 as their fourth score. The Wheelers had three golfers, with no team score. Two Audubon girls shot in the 50’s with their third score in the 60’s. Griswold had three golfers, with no team score. They had a pair of golfers in the 50’s and a middle 60’s. Mary Stephens of Underwood earned Medalist with a 50, with her teammates Kailynn Bretcher and Julia Thomas both shooting 51 to earn Runner-Up Medalist.
Mari Gleason led the Wheelers with a 52, finishing in 3rd place. Emily Foran added a 59 and Sydney Johnson shooting a 67.

Ryelyn Summerfield of IKM-Manning won Runner-Up Medalist with a 52 as the Wolves knocked off Tri Center, 234 to 243. The Wolves had three girls in the 50’s with their final score in the 60’s with Tri Center getting Medalist honors with Cameron Way shooting a 47. Their other scores were in the 60’s.
Ryelyn Summerfield paced the Wolves with a 52 with Ella Langel adding a 58, Abby Williams a 59 and Maybelin Valladres finishing with a 65.
The Wolves host LoMa on Monday.
