Boys Soccer Results Thursday, May 1st 

Carroll At East Sac

Carroll scored three goals over the final fifteen minutes to earn a 5-2 win at East Sac. The Tigers took a 2-0 lead in the 1st half but East Sac battled back, scoring late in the 1st half to trail 2-1 at half. A long goal for East Sac in the 2nd half tied the game with 28:37 remaining. Carroll was able to get pressure on Brendyn Conn, who had a strong game in goal, getting some good looks to score three goals down the stretch. 

Landon Petersen put Carroll up 1-0 with a  goal with 20:32 remaining in the 1st half. The Tigers stretched the lead to 2-0 with Luis Caldera scoring the first of his three goals. Carson Schmitt gave East Sac some momentum late in the 1st half, scoring a long goal with 13:24 remaining. The game went into half with Carroll up 2-1. 

Another long goal for East Sac tied the game at 2, this time it was Emmett Hemer taking a pass from Xander Hemer and placing it well with 28:37 remaining. The Tigers began pressuring the Raiders defense, which is inexperienced. Luis Caldera put Carroll back up 3-2 with a goal with 15:06 left. The lead grew to 4-2 with Landon Petersen scoring with 7:55 left. Carroll was in control of the game. They squeezed another goal with Luis Caldera getting his third goal of the game at the final buzzer. 

Luis Caldera led Carroll with 3 goals and Landon Petersen added 2 goals. Jeisson Avilez had a busy game in the net with 20 saves. Emmett Hemer and Carson Schmitt both scored a goal for East Sac. Xander Hemer added an assist for the Raiders. 

Carroll moves to 4-6 and hosts Gilbert on Tuesday. East Sac falls to 3-5 and hosts Atlantic on Monday.

Tri-Center at Kuemper

The Kuemper boys hosted Tri-Center at the Fieldhouse Thursday. Kuemper had a good offensive game fueled by Carson Kanne with 3 goals out of the 4. Fletch Badding had the other goal for the Knights. The Knights Improve to 3-5 on the year with a trip to Sergeant Bluff Luton Friday.
