Friday only had one meet but this one meet was jam packed with action. East Sac, Kuemper, Paton-Churdan and Ar-We-Va all ran at South Central Calhoun. The weather started shaky with cloudy skies until the meet started and the sun peaked out. Every team had their bright spots as each team pointed and had higher placements throughout the night. The host school in SCC placed the highest at 3 with 104 team points.
SCC had two champions across 3 events. Tristin Gorden won both the Shot and Disc with throws of 35-09 and 129-04. Iris Melody was the other champion in the 2 mile with a run of 11.23.26. For East Sac Wendie Veit won the 400 Hurdles with a time of 1:09.55. Kuempers 4×200 took second with Mariah Heuton, Chloe Gehling, Kolbi Peter and Morgan Masching. Paton Churdan’s 4×800 took second as well.
